if the nike sb manufacturers are just taking the poofy tongues away just to save money, i think its ridiculous, because on average, nike already makes about $90 per dunk low they make, and more people want to get rid of the thin tongue than they do the poofy tongue, so i am for poofy tongues

Ohh an why nobody was trippin bout the fat tounge on highs..too early to care..heat was still bein popped out..prices were chill (until ds an resale caught latebirds)..fat tounges on lows stayed for SEVEN years..SEVEN. It kinna like randomly pullin your front two teeth before you eat after you’ve had em all your life..WTF? YOU NEED THOSE! An as soon as the tounges lost weight, the creativity TANKED..an thus the uprising began..k now I’m really done..peace..

I loove the fat tounge. It feels great an looks even better. Such as the space tiger tounge. That’s the comfy-est sb I’ve ever put my foot in..but the skinny tounge seems like the design crew got laazy..with material and colorways..half of em are either suede or fuckin bb gunned with perforation..I learned to stuff em though..so I’ll cop the “nicer” blue boxes an hit em with my own cotton. Cuz Nike was to cheap or band wagoned by the “performace” buyers to throw the extra cotton in. So either way I’m good..I’ll toss my own two cents into the tounge or I’ll let Nike do it..but I prefer you do it Nike..needles hurt like a MUTHA FUCKA..but go head Nike, shell out shit, or gain your REAL income back..cuz you kno you made more bank with the fattys sewed in. Sneaker heads ran to craigslist or DXC’s to grab your old heat so you got no profit..s’all good though..Ima get what I want. I too an loookin to become a designer..no disrespect to the current sb designers,but lance an Todd needa come back..nooooooooooo jooooke..I’m done..

What Nike should do to prove what tounges people want they should come out with a few styles with both fat and thin tounges and I garantee the fats will be sold out first.

i say bring back the fat tounges!..all skateboarding shoes have fat tounges..they offer a certain level of support for a skater which is their primary concern. Me…im a sneakerhead and im pretty sure all nike corporate giants want is more money! that is why they outsource jobs..soo think about it who are the guys lining up infront of a store a week in advance waiting to buy the latest “heat” or sb? sneakerheads and the ones i talked to love the fat tounge..and they are the ones ready to drop hundreds of dollars on a pair of sb’s not a skater. a skater should buy a shoe they dont care to tear up and rip..a skater wont skate a $200 pair of lobsters..main point nike will make more money keeping the fat tounge..and keep having buyers buy sb’s. if skaters want skinny tounges why not buy dunks?

i am also upset with the loss of fat tounges too and i am not a skater but a true sneakerhead and the loss of fat tounges made me sick too my stomach wen i wood look at the sb dunk lows. this is horrible and i also heard u might lose the strap on the mids and if that happens nike sb = R.I.P

oh yhea and i personally think u should bring back the fat tounges wit the bird chirps that release this year hopefully thats if ya want to make a comeback cuz jordan got sum heat coming out in 2010. and last pleaz make an sb low with a fat tounge and a domo theme maybe i should make a rough copy and post it on the web. and dont byte off the unmade nike sb low domos cuz if nike makes them imma take sb over lmao jk

even the nike 6.0′s have a fatter tongue and thats not fair

nike sb plz bring the fat tongue back because the fat tongue was way more comfortable and looks better

When i heard about this i was mad but then i realized that it doesnt really matter because what makes nike sb is the zoom air sole and all the padding. Regular dunks dont have that so thin tounges feel more better on your feet so you dont feel like your feet are squished in there. I LIKE THIN TOUNGES!

Ok this subject lol. I am an assistant manager for champs sports, although we dont sell sb product i like to ride my wheelie board lol i mean skateboard and the fat tounges main purpose is to serve as an impact protection area for the top of your foot. Now as a sneakerhead i fudging love the fat tounge. It is ONE of the key componets thats sets nike sb dunk low pros apart from the mainstream dunks but we must not forget the inginuity and creativity that was nike sb via 2005. BOTTOMLINE—–fat tounges, skater and sneakerfiend. Now on to a subject i seen mentioned earlier. JB has been dropping lots of garbage on saturdays of almost every 2 weeks. Im tired of seeing jordans with a retro bottom and a completly terrible upper. JB you slipping. Plz give us more retros but continue to make fusions to distract the regular folks :]
