Nike SB Hat Rod – Tinker Hatfield
In December we posted a teaser pic of the Hat Rod, and we now have a full look. Tinker Hatfield designed the P-Rod 2 with a black and university blue colorway. It looks as if the Hat Rod was by the Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 15. Woven material was used on the uppers and the toe are resembles the material seen on the Air Jordan 12. The overall make up is very similar to the Melo AJ12 PE which features black and university blue. Images courtesy of Bob 8
The Hat Rod should release sometime next month, but as of right now no additional info is available. Stay tuned for more updates.
UPDATE: The Hat Rods will release in February at select Nike SB accounts. Check with the Nike SB accounts in your area that usally get the more limited releases. Thanks to MT for the info!

Sick but I would rather have the Melos. I never saw the blue coming but I like it.
tinker must have a thing for those melo player exclusives. they look just alike. any word on retail and numbers made? the black and blue looks good together.

Are P-Rods comfortable? I don’t own any…..yet. I’m gonna get these no doubt…..
^^P-rods and almost all skate shoes in general are very very very comfortable…nike and vans being my top two.
