I can feel where your coming from nebg, and though I said some are ight, clearly, SB is far removed from their golden years (2006 and down). And that’s where the problem is right there…SB heads compare now releases with their golden years and I think thats unfair, kinda along the lines of comparing MJ with the wizards to MJ’s entering years on the Bulls. Basically I think if ppl modify there expectations a bit and stop comparing the new SBs along the lines of the greater ones then they’ll come to find that they may still find some fire Sb’s if they dig through they haystack a bit.
Man it breaks my heart to see Nike SB dying. Its not a matter of comparing the new releases to the Golden years of Nike SB..
I feel that Nike SB is just too up their own asses to realize they are killing themselves. They arent giving the consumers what they want..
Its obvious we are in a recession so buying sneakers is a luxury, and now my favorite shoes are crap

Learn to skate. Puffy tounges were perfect, it gave the shoes a more firm fit around your foot. Thin tounges make the shoes feel to loose and most of the times I had to size down but then your toes get cramed up the front.
Simply put YOU DONT SKATE youre just a “sneaker head dummie”
And as for the main reason anyone bought a pair of SB’s that werent black packs is because aesthetics so suck it.
I still can’t beleive they took off the fat tongues, where is the logic in that? Every dunk in this video is headed straight for the clearance racks. I consider sb dunks to be my favorite sneaker, but now my jb collection is starting to catch up with my dunk collection because of all the garbage SB is releasing

Hidden pocket = Weed stash; That’s a winner any way you put it. I gotta say I loved Nike SB releasing a video like this; it shows me how much work and effort goes into creating their products. However the only things I liked with room-temperature interest are the black mids and the black sweater and tee. I gotta agree with what most people are saying, that Nike SB will eventually be headed towards Footlocker. Usually this is the part where some smart ass would say, ‘hey all the posers are leaving now that the hype has died and only the real SB heads will stay.’ But the reality is that this 2009/10 lineup while utilitarian has lost all creativity and hotness which was what made Nike SB so special in the first place.

I like the mustard/blue Blazers and some of the apparel…..I seriously gotta hunt down that “Angel Of Death” T-shirt.
until they bring back a fat tongue i will not buy a sb low. The high’s are still good but they need some good colorways, seriously quit putting out garbage shit and stick to basics black/red, blue/white type shit. They really need to think about starting to retro a few items if they want to keep people interested.
Looks like the the hunt will go on for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Series Heat in 2010!

Theres some heat in there, both apparel and kicks. The bruins are the best i saw as well as the army green/brown stefans. I love simple hoodies and jackets too.
