Nike SB x Diamond Supply Co. Part 2 & 3

| April 20, 2010 | Comments (28)

Nick Tershay of Diamond Supply Co. made a very important announcement via his twitter about Nike SB and Diamond Supply Co. The tweet reads, “Nike SB x Diamond Supply Co. Part 2 & 3 comin 2011…Stay Tuned”.

We’ll definitely stay tuned, but we can’t help but wonder what does Diamond Supply Co. and Nike SB have in store for us? Will the Part 2 & Part 3 collabo be able to top the design of the Tiffany Dunk SB? Only time will tell, but hopefully Nick will provide the web with a sneak peek sometime this year.

Keep in mind that before you leave a comment it clearly says “Watch Language”. This is something many of you have failed to do, and over the past few months the comments section has lost its classy vibe. I don’t mind people speaking their mind about the shoes, debating with others, but some comments are just plan immature.
    .
Keep it classy, or don’t comment at all. Go exercise that stress off. This is TSG, and we actually have a community based website, and everyone may not agree all the time, but at least everyone respects each other. I promise, I don’t have any kids, but sometimes I feel like a parent on TSG.
    .
All I’m saying is, GROW UP! A hit dog will ALWAYS holler, so don’t ask me if I’m talking about YOU, just take what I’m saying into consideration.
    .
PLEASE read your comment before you press “Submit Comment”, and ask yourself, “Do I sound like a child or does this have anything do with this sneaker?”. I understand some of you are young kids looking to start up chaos in the comments, but please grow up or take that crap to another site.
    .
I don’t want to call out any names because you know who you are. Step your comment game up because they are annoying, and starting to piss off OG TSG readers that’s been around since forever. Besides you never know who’s reading these comments. My mother even reads the comments sometimes, smaller cousins of mine, tons of females, the sneaker brands, etc. Just think about people other than yourself before you leave a comment.

Let’s fix this issue RIGHT NOW!

Guess you really are putting the message out there LOL. Obviously it needs to be said.
    .
Those Tiffany Janoskis are not one of them, I am assuming, because they are set to release in 2010

  3. ognikehead85 says:

I can’t wait hopefully they are classic’s like the first joints.

  4. G-Roc says:

^Yep. People need to see it.
    .
As for this news, it’s definitely very interesting. I can’t wait to see the kicks.

  5. Tre.Brown says:

I feel you on the language thing G-Roc…

and as far as the collab..i hope they hit us with something outside the box.

  6. BcUz-I-cAn says:

I have a feeling it won’t be a dunk. probably like a salazar or P-Rod. I would love for them to release another dunk, but only time will tell.

  7. 23edge says:

To be honest, I never really felt the SB line was going down hill as much as other people have. I still keep buying stuff that I like, and also think some stuff has been ignored because it didn’t come in a silver or pink box. Uhm… the only enemy that SB does have in my mind has been success. With success Nike is bound to create more and more releases, making the limitedness of SB not as hyped up. I’m neutral to any news that Diamond Co. might release another Nike collab since I need to see them first before I can judge.
    .
G-Roc I appreciate you addressing the comments issue. I mean you work really hard on this website, and to have someone just post nonsense like “those sneakers suck” really shouldn’t be allowed. Especially as the TSG grows, toning down the language and adding some thought into comments should be essential.

  8. fillup703 says:

Your the man G-Roc. As far as the collabs I think there going to be a let down because there going to be compared to the tiffs.

  9. josh says:

im calling dunk hi’s and blazers. that would be really dope to see the croc and stuff on the hi’s and blazers. maybe dunk hi’s with fat tongues??

  10. C Brown says:

I know you didnt really what to have to police the boards but G it needed to be said…Blogs/NT/Community Boards/TSG..is what makes the culture great..its an oppotunity to express either hate or love for what we all love which is sneakers…Sometimes people tend to make it about them, in this world of anonymity, instead of the kicks..I dont always agree with everyone…(actually im pretty opinionated) but I do still respect the indivudal and thats what alot of these little kids dont get…What does all these blasting back and forth REALLY have to do what wheither or not you like the kicks?? Shows maturity and growth…
    .
But to the kicks…honestly I think this is a mistake…Yo sneaker buyers are MAD fickel these days…The Tiffs were so Huge for both Nick and SB’s that they really have no where to go but down….No matter how perfectly they execute, there is STILL going to be a LARGE amount of people that diss them cause they aint the Tiffs…The only way they could even remotely get this right is to take a page from Supreme…always use a different model.so stay away from dunks…(well maybe just the lows) then you take away the comparison aspect…just dont use the Tiff colorway then they are right back in the whole…ishh..I guess cant succeed unless you try right???

Let’s twiddle our thumbs and patiently wait and see. Very selfish tweet if you ask me.

  12. D says:

All they have to do is re-release the Tiffany’s. I missed out the first time that would be a good look.

  13. J Flo says:

everyone will hate me for this but i actually thought the tiffanys were just mediocre, hopefully theyll surprise me with somethin nex year

  14. supper j says:

there gonna be a dunk high watch. or prods at least i think so

  15. HURRIC@N3 24 says:

    I hope it’s a P-Rod or a Salazar model if it isn’t a Dunk, & I pray that it isn’t a Dunk High ;)

  16. HURRIC@N3 24 says:

Anybody see the Nike SB Skunk Dunk release setup @ Maven VT???? Pretty cool :) & the P-Rod 3 Grey/Mean Grean samples are sick also :)

  17. lilbusta2318 says:

I’d rather not see them do a p-rod or salazar. I’m not really fond of either model. Maybe they will bring the Blazer lows back and hook those up.

  18. Royal Swagness (Detox) says:

bring back them tiffany sb lows. wasn’t able to cop because I wasn’t in the game then but now I really want a pair

  19. As long as they change up the colorway from tiffany’s I will be interested.

  20. TokyoMike says:

I have the first ones so if these are nice, I’d like to get the whole “set” so to speak……I say dude’s gonna have a TUFF TIME trying to make another SB that comes anywhere near the first one, but maybe that’s not his point.
    .
If he takes the “creative” route and it’s totally different looking, people will crap on it for being nothing like the first one.
    .
If he takes the “easy” route, he could simply bank on the sucess of the first Tiffany Dunk, and use almost the same material/color combo, but simply reverse it, or do it on a high top…..

  21. C Brown says:

@Mike..seeing how much Jeff is STILL milking them damn Pigeons…expect a Tiff Colorway high…I dont think any of these known guys or guys that really mad a splash with the first runs..Think Jeff and Nick… have the stones to really go outside the box…Ill tell you who is the illest…Todd Braturd…guy truly goes outside the box and takes chances…some work…some dont but I appreciate the effort…Trust some of your favorite SB are by this guy…

  22. Deznutz says:

It’ll probaly not be as nice as the first but hype sells. I not much of a sb fan the only nice sb that came was from the orange box era to the pink box era after that they went down hill(stash prods and Hawaii were the exception though) I actually own a pair of the 1st tiffs they are one of my fav kicks aside from my jordans. Wonder what they gonna use highs or a completly different model that’s not a dunk.

  23. TokyoMike says:

IF IT WERE ME…..hypothetically speaking…..I’d reverse the colorway and do a high top so the two kicks went together so to speak…..or at least I’d consider it. People love the Dunk, and if he does a low top, they’re gonna cry about the tongue….so I’d switch it to a high top, with a black croc body, aqua overlays, silver or black swoosh, and play off of my previous homerun…if I wanted an almost guaranteed hit. Now, if he’s feeling his creative oats, he may go so left field that we end up with some weird colorway on an SB Bruin or Harbor model that to most people, has “nothing to do” with the OG Tiffany’s….it will be very interesting to see how this plays out. I can almost guarantee this will cause some campouts regardless of what it looks like.

  24. frank says:

…except the fat tongues will be making their comeback HO10.

  25. P.A.'s Finest says:

^ Hell yea TM Hype will prolly ruin the excitement of getting these drops. Hype an hypebeast be ruining the fun of copping most of the times.
