Nike Sportswear Bespoke Info – New Design Feature Coming November ‘08

Nike is taking the iD game to the next level with a new appointment only innovative design program. The name of this new feature is Bespoke and it will be a 21 Mercer exclusive. Bespoke gives you the chance to work with Nike Designers to help with your customize experience. The Air Force 1 is the starter sneaker and maybe Nike will add more options in the future. The lauch of Bespoke is November 15th at tNike Sportswear 21 Mercer.

LeBron James however has already had VIP access to the Bespoke lab. Tons of premium materials will be available, but the price will hit your pockets hard.

On November 15, 2008 Nike is back at it once again. This time it will be for Bespoke-A-Thon. For those of you who don’t know what a Bespoke is. It’s a new and innovative by appointment design experience, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is an opportunity to work one-on-one with Nike Designers to customize select Nike footwear styles. Taking individual design to new heights, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is globally exclusive to 21 Mercer and launches November 15, 2008 with the iconic Air. So far there are only two people who had the chance to sit down and design a pair. The first person is Lebron James and the second person will remain nameless until I get the ok. If I do get the ok I will post the sneaker as well. You will be able to add 3M & different colors of elephant print with much more options then a normal ID. Be prepared to spend some bread with their $820 price tag. You can check out the elephant print & croc colorways below. The croc will be for the made to order AF1’s. The price will be $2,000. via SneakrAddicts

wow 2000 for croc…lol thats more than a car payment and rent and insurance…but man this would be a nice experience but this cost way too much for me lol

wow thats a crucial price tag

  3. That’s fucking insane!!! Click on the link and you can see the croc skin they have to choose from. Honestly $2000 is a lot of money but…. in this world it’s all relative. If you love to gamble then head to Vegas and lose your money there, if you love to eat then head to France, and if you love sports then go to a final championship game…. which all are fucking expensive but are done with reason, that it’s a once in a life time experience. So for a chance to make your own sneaker, use luxury materials, and work beside a Nike designer I think it’s well worth the money. Hopefully they do make the appointments available for the general public, and not just douche bags with money and contacts. Oh and if I had the chance to go there I would use up all their mahogany color croc skin on AF1’s hi with gold lace tips.

Why nike why!!!!!!!! i go to college and live in my own apartment how the hell will i come up with 2000 dollars come on man !!!!!!

  8. You’re paying for the experience so I agree with “23edge” all the way!

  9. I made my appointment.
I was at 21 mercer the other day and seen the materials.
It’s rediculous but being a cement print fein w/ 7 different colors of cement print as seen paralel to Lebron’s head on the pick, I’m gonna have a field day.

  10. That 2K makes that $820 look like chump change.

Only LB would be such a D-Bag to rock his own shirt. He is a tragedy.

you have no idea what id do in that shop

  15. regular af1 are $250, Bespokes are $820 and the crocs are $2,000. Nike may not offer the croc anymore. I’m not at liberty to say why at this time but i will once i get the ok.

  16. Cool concept but even with that kinda cash, I’d never waste my time doing up a special AF1….lemme hook up my own SB Dunk hi or low, and I’d drop the cash no problem…..

let me know when they’re adding premium low low dunks

  18. Comment by nikehead October 30th, 2008 at 1:32 pm

i believe he’s rockin his own headphones also…the 6 on the side

  19. ‘nikehead’, thats a ‘b’ on his headphones…….those are actually dr. dre’s signature headphones, and they hit for about 550 if im not mistaken………….

2000 for croc, FINE WIT ME!, i pay 1500 for gator dress shoes….its a DETROIT thing!!

  20. Lol…..2000 for one pair is redic…I mean if ur into croc like that, to each is own…but I’d rather get 2 pairs of heat for around 1000 then drop 2 g’s on a pair of af1’s

  21. Dame $820 for AF1’s. They killed my shit. I would love to do a pair but with the way money has been I would be happy with the $225. One day I will get to do my own hot pair but until than I will stay with the DUNKS.
