Nike Trainer 1 “Mac Knows”
After the first picture, this may have many heads saying,”You can not be serious!” and for a good reason. And yes we are, a John McEnroe Nike Trainer 1 sneaker is underway for release. Some of us may remember John McEnroe as the tennis sensationalist of the 80’s.
John took home one mixed doubles title, seven singles Grand Slam titles, and nine doubles titles throughout his impressive career. Later audiences may remember him as a commentator for professional tennis matches. Aside from the tennis court, it seems as if McEnroe has made some more racquet away from the court as Nike has given him his own Nike Trainer 1.
The shoe comes in a grey/black/chlorophyll colorway with “Mac Knows” seen on the inside of the tongue. The heel portion depicts what may be presumed as a very eccentric tennis player which McEnroe was every sense of the term. Also, the insole is given a tennis ball design which pays tribute to the player. You can pick up your pair some time this month so keep your cool and stay tuned for more info. That lil figure/character (portrayin McEnroe) looks like he’s Crip walkin, doin the “electric slide”, or ’bout to throw a 40oz. bottle @ a wall….
The only way I would buy this shoe is if John McEnroe was there in person to sign it. Then he would have to immediately yell at one of the store employees like he was a ref who blew a call.
Tennis ball insole lil MAC on the side its a tough shoe i like how nike has been marketing them dont know on a performance level but i like em only pair i seen better was the adrian peterson ones they were the best
lol @ converse king…. I would want him to yell, then sign it while yelling… and then yell again while using expletives between every word…. Nike should have put some curse words on the insoles…LOL… I’m COPPIN’ fo’ sho’… I am a big time tennis fan. Loved the McEnroe/Connors/Borg/Lendl days

thing I would’ve liked to see is
Mac Knows on the outside tongue
instead of the inside. Other then
that, a size ten-nis for me…HA!
Agassi Knows.. might be much better for me.
