Nike Went and Remade the Air Flight Huarache

Better believe it.

The classic Nike basketball sneaker, which burst onto the scene in the early ’90s with help from the revered Michigan Fabulous Five, is not above a remake.

Did you ask for this?

Among the updates are a translucent sole and a lacing situation equipped with a bulky lace lock.

Tinker? Hello? Did you co-sign this?

No release date yet, but expect one at some point this spring.

Will you be picking these Air Flight Huarache remixes?

Hmmmm…i might would. Let’s see what that retail is first though. And if these are a pick-up for Da Kid (that’d be me ?), that lace-lock is tossed.

They look comfortable. I’d spend $89.99 on them. *shoulder shrug*

    Nike trying I ain’t mad

  • I wasn’t aware of there being enough of a market for these to be revamped vs tossed into a vault so that it wasn’t a waste of Nike’s time but I also just recently came across multiple accounts of the Nike monarch being one of their most popular shoes ever?

I hope whatever data they used to produce these was spot on or at least close cause I see shelf sitters and L’s in Nike’s future.

  • And imagine all the comfortable and good looking shoes you could get for what these may retail for or $160.00. These strike me as nothing more than the designated yard shoe after one has gotten over the fact it was a useless impulse buy.
