The Kobe IV caused a lot controversy among the sports and sneaker culture with the unveiling of his signature sneaker as a low top basketball sneaker. It’s quite ironic to say that a low cut has achieved high profit success shortly after entering the market.
The Zoom Kobe V does not shy away from the same silhouette as it appears that it will be following suite to the that of the Kobe IV. It appears that the all black V bearing the Mamba logo will come equipped with a neoprene ankle strap for added support that we also saw on Melos M4 some time ago. Maybe this added support will lower rates on your ankle insurance.

I mean… it’s nice but not much of a departure at all from the IV. I think the ankle sleeve is a gross contradiction to the very message Nike is trying to send with Kobe playing in a low. I like it… it looks good… but it makes the whole “low” idea very very suspect.
the sneakers r ugly n they not good to play ball in. I’m a balla, n i wouldn’t dear play in low tops. i play in high tops n i wear a ankle braclet.
my dude im a balla 2 & ive played n the kobe 4′s they feel great 2 me. lightweight very durable. think about it soccer players play n even lower cut sneakers & the put my wear & tear on their ankles then hoopers do. lows mids or highs it’s all a st8 of mind 2 me. i dont think nike will release these though they r 2 much like the 4′s n appearence i think they will bring the fiya w the 5′s. nice shoe though
They look okay… but I guess because I like the sock aspect of the sneaker. I don’t know about flywire… it seems so light and almost adds no support. Thats why I like newer Jordans because of the heavy and durable material used on them, beyond looks I always appreciate a sneaker for how long it lasts.

didn’t we all say the same thing about the IV’s? and now everybody has one. when kobe wears it, it won’t matter how ugly it would be! i remember bashing the IV’s when the first samples came out, but when kobe started wearing sick colorways, it blew me away. let’s wait til nike releases sick colorways before we judge.
portman u rite we already saying its bad but dont judge a book by its cover the 4s were lunar the 5s went bac to zoom so it has a better grip plus its not done so u never know what they might put in next
