Nike Zoom Rookie LWP – Varsity Red/Black
The Nike Zoom Rookie LWP has had a love/hate relationship with consumers since its first release but has still continued to produce strong colorways, including the upcoming varsity red/black mockup. Clearer images have just surfaced, giving a glimpse at the tint of the red used along with the additional laces provided.
Originally these sneakers have been viewed as just another tonal colorway, with an all varisty red upper, minor black detailing and a full icy sole, like the Memphis Blue pair released earlier this year. Instead, the sneaker looks to have additional light green laces, indicating a possible Christmas theme.
The shoe is still set to drop Saturday, November 10, at select NSW retailers for $200 a pair.

okay…. why the extra green laces??? Now BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ITS FOR X-MAS… I understand that… but seriously.. it doesn’t go what so ever with this sneaker… am I right??? The penny logo should have been green at least…..

i’m digging these joints…the green laces are a nice touch in my opinion
they need to stop releasing these ugly all matte red cw’s and drop those shiny ones penny wore at tournament of the stars. those were heat…or atleast break up some of that red with black.
