Back in March we gave you a preview of the Zoom Trainer Huarache TR Mid. This past weekend, Nike Training held an event in the Bay Area at the Zoo. Nike provided media with a look at the Zoom Trainer Huarache, and they also gave them info about the updated Trainer Huarache model.
Aaron Cooper is the designer of the Zoom Trainer Huarache. Aaron added flex grooves, Zoom Air, more traction to the outsole, decoupled heel, and made the upper sleeker. The shoe was made with Larry Fitzgerld in mind. A few colorways were made paying homage to Larry, including a Vikings colorway (not pictured) from when he was a ballboy. They also made a silver colorway inspired by the silver shoes he wore on Monday Night Football, but he wasn’t supposed to wear them, so Nike gave he props for having the guts to wearing them.
His mother passed away from cancer, so they hooked up a black/pink colorway of the Zoom Trainer Huarache. They touched on his sporting and personal life.
As we reported in March, the Zoom Trainer Huarache will be available Holiday 2010. They will retail for $115.
