Over the past few weeks we’ve been breaking the news about the return of the Air Jordan 12. We informed you about the Holiday 2009 White/Red Air Jordan 12 retro as well as the remixed Black/Red Air Jordan 12. On Friday we dropped news about the new colorway that will hit accounts in December. Shortly after that, images of the “Nubuck” Air Jordan 12 ‘09 were leaked by marqueesole. Back in 2003 Jordan Brand released a pack which featured the Nubuck 12’s, hat and hoody. The 2009 version is very similar to the pair that was released in 2003. No word on the release month yet, so stay tuned.

It’s now very obvious that JB will cater to the AJ12 fans in 2009.

    I’m not sure you could call this ‘catering’ to the XII fans. Only the white/red is exciting – not a fan of these nubuck and suede remixes, nor all-whites. Give us the original leather setup with the contrasting outer toe/inner arch bands that made the shoe so distinctive in the first place!

    Dont think jordan Brand was too clever with this one. They released them as an online exclusive in the first place and this will bring the value of the OG nubucks down tremendously for those you got lucky back in 03.

    definately a 12s year. but im the type of dude to only buy one of each number, unless under extreme circumstances lol. so i’m still committed to the white/red…. but these are a close 2nd. i love black/blue colorways… which reminds me…. whats this i hear of Space Jams?! plz gimme so info on those (and true blues and white/cement 4s)!!!

    i LOVE the aj12, but I HATE nubuck. that sh*ts harder to keep clean than “tight white”. plus with every thing that jb’s droppin this year, choices must be made, so im gonna have to pass on this one!!

  33. These r alright. they don’t look as good as the retro’s that dropped in 03. Instead of droppin so many 12’s, jb need to drop other numbers, like 13’s or 9’s.

  37. I just got on for the first time of today, and wow, I’m blown away by this colorway. Its sleak and how could you not love the north carolina colors. Hell yes JB!
