Olympic Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘08 – Detailed Pics
The 2008 Summer Olympics will take place in Beijing, China, so Jordan Brand decided to release a special Air Jordan 6 colorway for this occasion. The colorway is totally different from the original Olympic AJ6, and they feature a multi colored midsole.
The colorful midsole pays homeage to the five Olympic Rings which was founded in 1913 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin. It’s been 8 years since Jordan heads got some Olympic AJ6 love. The drought comes to an end this year, and the 2008 Olympic 6’s are set to release on June 7th. Retail, $150. via Kenlu

What happen to JB jus dropping crazy colorways…they don’t need any logos or engraving cuz the model of the is crazy enuff… I for one would never like to see JB change their style it made them $$$ all these years… I think after these packages they should jus give the shoegame a rest and bow out gracefully…. the only reason I could see myself buying these is too reseller and let dummy dropp top dollar for em years later… but I say that to say this ( R.I.P JB killing classics one by one…smh )

The soles are CLEAR! I have the 99 VI’s and I never wear em (or have the desire to but I keep ‘em because I know how much they’re worth) so to grab these and hold em til cats forget they ever existed won’t be much of an issue but I won’t pay over retail … but I may stand out on an early morning shot!!

These are def doin too mch. The soles are icy ( dig)…the rest of it patent leather? the rainbow motif (I understand the colors but I cant rock those in the A or DC for that matter). These are a miss in my opinion but becuz many will sleep on them they will prolly be worth something in the future like others hae said. JB needs to just bring out some 6s period, they are gettin over packaging bum releases with hot ones, those black 17s were the worst of the releases of the 17 but I digress.

Easy pass… VI doesn’t mean must cop! If it was a USA color way or something along those lines, I would cop. The random colors only on the bottom, the patent leather, and the out of no where stitching on the toe all killed it for me. I think JB has been hookin up with the barber shop shoe man to get fresh new ideas. WTF? If I didn’t know these were real and someone had these on, I would assume they were fake.

I talked with people at niketown and they told me they’re having a release party in which they handed out numbers for and are only selling 32 pairs….i dunno if thats just here in vegas or all over…. hope that helps…
