The Air Jordan XII “Rising Sun” issue is now over, and the revised version will be available at Jordan Brand accounts this Saturday. JB accounts were sent new insoles to replace the Rising Sun insoles, and we heard the insole swap-o-rama wasn’t fun at all. Here we have images of SneakerDave showing us how fun the process was. G Roc… another fact that some my not know is that not only did they recall the insoles, they recalled all the retro cards as well, so at this point, there no longer “Rising Suns”. Now they just all white 12s. Oh by the way i spit my drink on the screen when i saw myself just now. good lookin big hommie!

Anyway, back the release… So basically the insolse will now be all white AND the retro card is not going to be part of it either?
I am getting a sense that these “Rising suns” are going to be some real collectibles in the future because of all of this.
These are the only retros i know that can also be called OG-retros due to the OG release change of the insoles. Mark it down somewhere in sneaker history lol

I work at footaction too and i thot it wus sooo lame how we not only had to send the Insoles AND Retro cards back…but the replacement insole didnt even have a Jordan sign! wtf. A all white flat non cusioning generic non Jordan havin insole!?! I lost alota respect for the “rising sun” 12’s. They’re still a nice lookin shoe…on the surface, but taking away the insole and retro card makes the shoes less valuable to me (and I’m not referring to re-selling)

We sent ours back yesterday too. Luckily I picked up a pair with OG insoles and retro card off PYS. You can also get em off of LTD if you can read Japanese! haha. Taking offers on a size 10 Rising Sun with OG everything. Hit me up at: originalsolecollector@yahoo.com

Yeah my dude at Finishline told me all the retro cards for the 12’s got taken, & that they have yet to receive the insoles.. he should be glad though. Going through all them pairs taking off the insoles putting new ones back in there xp exhaustingggggg!
As for the insoles all white? really JB?! black & red insoles would have done nice..

I guess I have to get up early Saturday morning and go Jordan hunting…Size 13s are tricky to catch. The all white “Rising Suns” are a clean shoe. Going back to Japan (Nippon) to finish my tour in a couple months. Going to make the trip in these or the “Space Jams” if I am fortunate enough to get a pair.
probly have to replace the soles with more comfortable one anyway.
