People still get robbed for sneakers? I thought those days were over, but according to Miami Herald it still happens. It was once a time when you were considered to be a brave individual if you rocked Starter jackets and Air Jordans because word on the streets was you might get jacked. Well, sadly some people still get robbed for their Nikes.
”It’s hard to believe someone has been killed over a pair of shoes,” Sakin said. “It’s hard to believe my client is going to prison because the other guy had to steal those shoes.”

Yeah it is true! Ive seen with my own eyes people get their shoes taken..It sucks for the person who got their shoes stolen, but it sucks more for the person who took them, Karma will take its course!

It always goes down in a side show, where a mofo get jumped & stripped down to his boxers, they’ll even take ur clear Jordans!! 9 times out of 10 they jackin a snitch or a hater….Damn thats long azz barrel!
Times are gonna get A LOT rougher before they get better so it dont surprise me….I dont think its as much of a epidemic like it was in the 80′s….shit in the 80′s cats was getting took for Starters…Sheepskins…Ewings….MCM suits(I had a crazy joint)…and especially Polo (Shout to all my LoLifes!!!)….now a days the bottleg market makes things more afforable so you have more people that will cop some fake shit for discount then rob someone….why catch a bid for some $200 sneaker when you can go to _insert local hood street name here_ and get them for $20 bucks…

I got GOT for my Raiders Starter back in high school…..and a few years earlier I got my ASS BEAT DOWN by a few guys for my shoes….then they didn’t even take em and wear em, they just threw em up on the power lines and left me there like a jackass….had to walk home in bloody socks…..
that picture is funny, but the situation is not. it is a shame how the economy has driven people deeper into the state of desperation, but that’s something we have to deal with no matter what.
as long as there is a high demand for material objects, things will get stolen. sometimes its because that person is way too envious, greedy or just can’t afford it and end up robbing others. people will steal as long as they think they can get away with it and will end up benefitting more. robbing people for material wealth isnt something new. nothing we can do about it, all a part of life. but yeh it is pretty damn sad that someone will harm others to take their things and have no regard for the fact that the other person worked super hard to get their own shoes.

Hmmm… sad story but still if you’re gonna wear hot kicks in the street you gotta know the risks too. Back in the day I knew that, in fact I still remember getting the bordeaux VII’s and having to dirty them up to make others not want them. Even today I hardly ever wear my nice kicks to a place that I know will get unwanted attention.
