Remembering 2002 with Nelly: Air Force Ones

Six years ago Nelly made a song about Air Force Ones. It was definitely one of the most remembered songs from 2002. The AF1 was already a popular sneaker, but Nelly took this 25 year old sneaker to higher heights in ‘02. He was definitely responsible for the AF1 hype in the early 2000’s. Everyone should remember the catchy hook, and this is a flashback video dedicated to all the AF1 heads across the globe. Shout out to all the real AF1 lovers out there…

Nike you still owe Nelly, but hopefully Jordan Brand will take care of him!

I can’t lie and say this song wasn’t hot when it first came out but the over play of this song brought out the over production of this shoe and single handedly took some of the dopeness and exclusiveness out of the air force 1. Just my opinion what yall think?

honestly i think it all depends on where you live, when i lived in san diego we rarely heard this song, its like our radio stations boycotted the song…lol so to me this song is still cool, rediculous but cool
