Russell Westbrook Debuts The Air Jordan 28
When Dwyane Wade made the shocking announcement that he would leave Jordan Brand, it had fans wondering who will be the new face of the company. The question was answered with the new addition of Russell Westbrook. It’s not a surprise that Russell will now take the reins and will lead Jordan Brand into a new era beginning with the latest Air Jordan 28 model. He debuted the Air Jordan 28 tonight when the Thunder faced the Nets.

I dont mean to sound stupid if I do by asking this, but wtf happened to #’s 24-27?
@Michael Knotts 24-27 models were AJ 2009-2012.
They don’t look that bad on feet, but since I don’t ball like that I won’t be getting these. Especially for the price. I know people keep bringing this up but, I would rather them bring back the Gary Paytons.
^They were given a year instead, 2010, 2011, 12 etc…
Uber simple but I’d try them only if I had 300$ in pocket change to spend (doubt that’ll ever happen)
man these are terrible….i don’t know what you guys are looking at but man these look soo ugly.. I mean I’m sure the technology is there for ballers but man they REALLY need to step it up in the design department…. TINKER IS LOSING IT

I still fucks with em. Zipped down though. It reminds of when the xvi were first introduced and everyone was like WTF same with the XVII now a lot of heads regret not have copped those puppies day 1. I guarantee the hype will grow. Make some QS colorways or give them stupid nicknames and eveyone will cop. Also those complaing about the price you should’ve thought twice about copping those yezzy 2 and Lebron elite south beaches for $250 look what JB is doing and so is Nike.
I love this….We are on 2012 so this is what a jordans needs to look and perform!!! This is not 1989, i love retros too but the AJ model needs to be something else like MIKE when he play the game.Love to see other colorways….and just wait until the hit the outlets..like the laters models…needs to keep the legacy….and is easy pull this up to wear not only to ball….
I like the shoe and will probably purchase when the price drops. I don’t ball nearly as much as I used to but I would still like the have them in my rotation.
It’s just way too over the top. I don’t wanna hear anything about the “future” and it represents “today” and all that jazz.
This shoe is the future, as in 2175. It looks like something Sigourney Weaver should be strapped up in while slaughtering Aliens.
I was hoping however that Russ would take down the shroud so I could see them on court not zipped up. But eh.
Bottom line, you can have the same performance features in a basketball shoe, with a slick design, that LOOKS like a basketball shoe.

I’m not gone lie, I like them. When they hit discount status I’m buying out the bar. And will stash them to make a killing when the demand for these finally comes. Mark my words, people will like these when they see cats rocking them with the rite fit.
