Shoes cause major traffic in Miami
It’s not often that we see or report on news like this, but we know you will find this news interesting. The Miami State Troopers are still trying to figure out where thousands of shoes came from that covered the freeway. No signs of a crash, but the shoes must have been come from some type of dump truck due to the amount of shoes that was found on the expressway.
State troopers are looking for a charity to take thousands of shoes that were dumped on a Miami expressway, tying up rush hour traffic. Lt. Pat Santangelo says the Florida Highway Patrol received a call about the shoes Friday morning.
Santangelo says he’s not sure where the shoes came from. There were no signs of a crash and no one stopped to claim them. He says he hopes someone will take them because he doesn’t want to send them to the dump. via Yahoo
This is by far the craziest news about shoes we’ve seen in a while…this even tops the Shoe Tree news. Miami heads did you find any heat out there?

This is obviously a truck from some thrift store that got overloaded with donations at the end of the year. Probably too many for the store to handle, so they had some guy take them to the dump, but when he got to the dump he realized he would have to pay a fee to dump them. So instead he just dumped them on the street. Nothing like seeing someone’s tax deduction spread all over the road.
