I remember when sneakeraddicts started doing comics. They did 3 shorts ones. One was oil painted , one was sketched and i forgot how they did the 3rd one. I wonder why they stopped i enjoy them. I was waiting too see more. G-Roc have you heard from them recently? what have they been up 2 project wise. The dvd, the comic or the blog.

I woulda responded earlier but as you might a guessed, I’m up here drawing for wages as we speak and not really able to get a break to comment like i really want to after all the love you’ve all shown….but, I’m taking a late “lunch” right now…so I can get it in for a sec.

Every artist needs their OWN outlet. Some of you might not be artistic in the drawing sense, but, if you love shoes or fashion, your artistic side most likely comes out there. All in all, its about EXPRESSION. I like fresh art, fresh kicks, a fresh fit…like, I am ME when I step into the room…I know you gotta feel me on that.

Now, I’ve been working on others people’s stuff for a looooooong time. And, although I paid very well for doing what I love to do, you kinda feel like a beautiful bird in a cage. So, for the longest I’ve been trying to create something where I could bring together as many of loves as possible. SHOES has been my outlet for a pretty long time…but, it never crossed my mind to actually put two of my favorite things (art and sneakers) together to create something special. So in essence, that was the genesis of SN’EADS.

I came to TSG a few months or so back and noticed the content and community was much more different and diversified than other sites. I like the irreverent comments, I like that the didn’t MIRROR everything that other sites were posting, and especially could appreciate the fact they were willing to TAKE CHANCES by stepping out the box and creating SNEAKER RELATED CONTENT…with BAILEY CRUMB being a prime example.

with all that said, TSG is the first place I went and ironically the first place that responded to show SN’EADS some love and give me a home where I can express myself in a community of my peers.

Again, thank you! thank you for giving me fuel to want to continue. You can’t imagine how it is sometimes when you put out work and nobody even gives you a “that ish was wack” or “hey, that was hot”… I don’t create art just for me…I create it to be seen and FELT…good or bad…just as long as you FELT it and gave me feedback I could grown on.
