Sneaker Hunting Ain’t Dead!
Not that anyone said sneaker hunting was dead, but just so you don’t get it twisted, sneaker hunting ain’t dead! Just the other day my cousin and I went on a little sneaker hunt in Chevyboy land, but let’s just call it the “real country”.
We visited two small sneaker stores in Thomaston, GA, and picked up a few goodies. Their older stock wasn’t “vintage”, but they definitely had kicks on sale that would’ve never sat in Atlanta shops this long. Yes, I’ve found tons of heat throughout the south while fulfilling my sneaker destiny, but those of you that know about sneaker hunting are well aware that you don’t strike gold everytime. However, it’s been a while since the last time we hopped on the road, so I thought I’d share what the stores had to offer with the lovely TSG readers.
Check out the kicks that were relaxing on the sale racks after the jump. Oh yeah, consider this a “Sneaker Sale Report” as well because the Hot Lava Air Tech Challenge II’s were actually spotted at Hibbett Sports.

Yea, the deep south really sleeps on sneaker.. My mom lives south of Valdosta, and it be like that down there. Its a hibbit sports there too, as well. Also, Thomaston is a super small country town, and you really can come up on shoes…
Most of those shops dont get the exclusive rare kicks. But AJ’s all day. Good ass deals..

I am planning on going on a WASHINGTON HEIGHTS to the LOWER EAST SIDE sneaker hunt for the NIKE AIR MAX PENNY in a SZ 13….. those are good times….MOM & POP stores always have the heat… found some Penny IVs in the ORLANDO color way not too long ago on one of my journeys. LOL….

at the navy exchange this week. the discontinued the white jordan 2009’s for 75. bucks with an additional 50%…. so i paid 80 bucks for 2 pair of 2009s…. CRAZY!

The best i’ve found were olive 9’s in kids sizes, french blue 7’s, melo 2’s, 18.5’s, white 18’s, stealth 20’s,pure 4’s, burgundy 5’s, patent 1’s unc, citrus 7’s, steel grey 10’s (all at different times,but at the same place) and my friend got some infared 6’s, 2 pairs of columbia 11’s, for like $150.
Sbtrife87…. my boi let me answer that for you…NO GD WHERE!!!!!! You know all we got is the majors(finishline, footlocker, champs,etc.), and that’s a COMPLETE waste of time!!!! You might get lucky in Mr. Kicks or Images but that $H!_ never happen!!!! Your best bet is to pound the keyboard all day like me looking for a lic!!!!!!!!!

I JUST PICKED UP SOME AIR PIPPENs THAT OTHER DAY…. IN THE STORE THEY HAD AN OLD ASS PAIR OF “ELLESSEs”(IF YOUR UP ON YOUR SHOE GAME) ON THE SHELF. I ASKED TO SEE THE OTHER FOOT, BUT THEY COULDN’T FIND THE OTHER HALF IN THE STOCK ROOM. THEY ALSO HAD A PAIR OF OG/CW AIRMAX 97″ sz 8.5. EVEN THO THEY WEREN’T MY SIZE I WAS GONNA COP THEM TO SEE WHAT I COULD GET OUT OF FC. BUT THE AIR BUBBLE WAS ALL DISCOLORED.
