Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1
Sole Collector is back on their Nike collabo grind, and this time they focused their attention on a training shoe. SC just dropped their Nike Training issue which features an in-depth look into the world of Nike Trainers, interviews, and images of some of the best Nike Trainers to date. Nike allowed SC to design their very own Air Max Trainer 1. The colorway was inspired by OG Air Trainer II white, cement grey, aquamarine, and citron color-up that Bo Jackson KNOWS very well.
When the opportunity presented itself to help create a Nike Training shoe, there was no way I couldn’t look to the kicks that started it all for me as an inspiration. The Aquamarine and Citron colors of the Sole Collector Air Max Trainer 1 come straight from the accents along the most well-known colorway of the original Air Trainer SC II – the White/Cement Grey/Aquamarine/Citron pair that Bo wore in the original print ads and commercials. Obviously, we like to do things a bit more loudly, so we flipped the accents into the base colors of the shoe. While not removable like the original, the strap was also added as a nod to the SC II, and even the neoprene collar pays tribute to the original’s materials. As a final touch, you’ll see an image of the Air Trainer SC II itself on the underside of the right tongue tag.
These will not hit retail, but SC will give their members a shot at winning a pair of these Air Max Trainer 1′s. Peep the inspiration below:

i’m good on the colorway but the design i’ll take.
ever since I saw Pacquiao in his custom signature trainer 1s with the new 360 air max sole, I was PRAYING Nike would release them. STILL…sigh…they still won’t be available for my consumption.
That colorways is crazy, I like even though I know I won’t be able to get them.

Not really my type of shoe or colorway but it still looks real nice tho. I like pretty much all of sole collectors/nike collabs.

AREEGED…Retro the SC Trainer Hi….the straps don’t work for wide ass feet…
Nice color-way and mash-up, but that strap adds a dent to the overall look of the shoe for me.
