i’m annoyed that they decided to re-release these only because i have the pair from 2001 DS… yes i know the 2001 was a re-release of sorts considering that the shoes were never released in 96 to the general public. i also know that there’s only 5 pairs of the original shoes for the movie. but can the re-release be considered a grail though? i would have to say no because you don’t wear grails period… and i know shoes are meant to be worn but for a shoe to be considered a grail it has to be very hard to find making it a collector’s item and usually expensive. i don’t want to sound like i’m hating, i just want people to be careful with that grail word is all… i prolly cop some just to beat since i’ve never got a chance to wear my original ones. it’s been very hard to not wear them, can’t believe it’s been 8 years already.

I honestly believe that anything is possible at this point. In fact JB right now is monitoring the boards and chats looking to see if dropping a certain sneaker is right for them or not. How many times have we heard a certain drop is guaranteed and then at the last minute it doesn’t, or a sneaker we never thought would be released again is retroed? Hmmm….not worth the money….yes yes I know they are Space Jams, but if you ball in these that patent leather creases just the second you hit the court…and the bottoms stay good for about a week before becoming race car slicks…even if you don’t ball in them and just wear em around they still wear the hell out fast…HORRIBLE quality shoe…I guess to collect them is fine, but $350 plus?!?!
