Don’t see much of a difference exept the jumpman on the bottom is now blue. Everyone knows about the quality now adays, but these lookn spretty straight. There’s no way in hell that ima miss out on these.
Man, I love the Space Jams, But that “yellowing” of the icy sole, is sooo freakin ugly.. $200 for a short life span of “icy sole” unless you DS. smh.. Still love the shoe though.
I got the 01s and my sole is as icy as it’s gonna get for its age…but, DAMMIT…that sole on the 09 is icier than BABY’S GRILL! errrr.
quality wise on the leather…it’s obvious from the pictures without TOUCHING the 09 that the leather is actually REAL on the 01 and the OG.
Shape wise…I’m not mad at this new silhouette. It’s actually a little sleeker.

No matter how bad the quality is we are all gonna get them the problem is that jb is taking advantage the price is higher they are paying way less money to manufacture they wanna gain more profit and to me that’s not right is like making a Ferrari with cheap materials to gain more and to me jb starting to be a mediocre brand just disappointed
^^jayfay07. It doesn’t matter if you work at FL or not, you have to wait in line just like everyone else. They don’t give any employee perks on releases. I was sittin outside with kid’s mommys last year who worked at FL cause they had to work the day the 11/12 CDP dropped…
You guys forget, this shoe is a GENERAL RELEASE!!! AND everybody and they MAMA will have them.. The quality is still shitty and for $200, that’s robbery.. I still on the fence about these, have to see in person to decide. Not paying $200 just bcuz they “space jamz”..

Wore my CDP Bred XI’s to the casino the other day for the Lobster Buffet $25 a pop….after a few hours & a few dollars on the slot machine, my freakin toes & heels were in a agonizin pain mayne! The first Space Jam’s to release were a retro! They weren’t even OG.
So technically if you said all the retro quality was crap, you’d be calling the first Space Jam’s crap too.

Those are the OG’s for that colorway. Jordan didn’t release the space jam’s til 2000. The XI’s obviously came out earlier, but not this ‘edition’ … so technically, when they are the first of its kind in the colorway, you could call them OG’s.

I love both editions of the sneaeker. There are some slight differences but even if you’re feelin the 2000 edition more than the 2009 edition, you’re still gonna cop the 2009 editions. I got my 2009 edition already and they are magnificent. I’m coppin another pair when they release. 1 to rock, 1 to stock. I love ‘em.
