Staple “Pigeon” x Converse



Jeff Staple and his team blessed the Nike SB Dunk Low with Pigeon treatment in 2005 and this year they gave the New Balance 575 the same treatment. As you can see, Staple isn’t done yet. The Pigeon colorway is becoming Staple’s signature colorway for their sneaker collabo’s. Today we report on the Staple and Converse ”Pigeon” sneaker. Pigeon SB Dunk owners don’t get mad at Jeff because he’s just getting his branding swag on. via HighSnobiety and BKRW

  1. Look nice very nice. Jeff Staple made a tit of himself though when he said Staple was a bigger and more respected brand than New Balance, alot of people have went off him/Staple ‘cus of that, over here in the UK anyway.

Damn is it me or is Jeff just really watering down the Pigeon and the Pigeon Legacy…Dont get me wrong I think that the colorway is dope…and I realllly like these converse, but to try and make them something they are not by putting a Pigeon on them is stupid…These are fresh, plain and simple, I dont think it was nessacary to try and HYPE them up…But just like all the other releases let the HYPE begin…Just like I said when the NB Pigeons came out…coming soon, the Sketchers Pigeons…HYPEHYPEHYPE..

  4. Im really liking this shoe, its simple and laid back just what im into now….. But like “c brown ” said he is putting the pigeon on too many shoes

The staple colorway and pigeon design are “nice” but I will never understand why it inspires $2,000 (dunk) & $400 (NB) re-sale prices plus mass histeria/violence (dunk release) and campouts (dunk AND NB releases)…these are clean and all but if the pigeon logo hasn’t become the epitome of “hype” I don’t know what is…

    On another note they should release these with a free bag of white poop to throw at cars or otherwise drop on unsuspecting passersby…
