Im a big Supra head but honestly I think this is wack (I been saying that alot lately)…I love Supra because of its orginality…..Its fresh to be outside the box and do different things…If people want AJIV then they should buy them..why buy a Supra that looks like a Jordan…Thats why I never understood the concept of Gourmet…If people want Jordans then they buy Nike not something that looks like Nike….Please Supra dont play yourself like Fila is playing itself trying to look like Prada…

^c brown you speak the truth my man. these companies don’t know how to be original anymore. that’s why nike will always be the king.

  3. ^^^AGREE!!!^^^ These are wack!

  4. Never was really a Supra fan anyways. Haha.

i understand what you’re saying c brown, but i thin the concept behind gourmet is putting a casual spin on jordans which are in the end atheltic shoes so that they appeal to a different group of consumers. honestly, i like some of their designs, but i would never buy anything from them because $150 for a canvas shoe is a rip off.
but with supra, its just them paying their respects to a great sneaker brand that came before them, and its not like this sneaker is modeled to look exactly like the jordan 4s, you can clearly see the inspiration, but there is some originality to it. for the most part, there are few successful orignal conecepts out there, even from nike they’re biggest sales come off retros (if i’m not mistaken. but that’s just my 2 cents, and in the end to each their own.

Those are cool as a fan. A skateable 4.

Shooot and when you think about the quality state Jordan is in and the quality of Supra it’s worth buying for that price.

this is wrong, use the same colourways, but dont go into the little innovations that made a jordan special and use it

  10. boring, ugly, and perfectly good waste of my time

Yeah, these joints r very AJ inspired no need to explain (bred+the net). Ain’t sk8 since the late 80s, I’m sure as hell in to sk8 shoes. Keep the Skytops on my radar. Yadadamean?!

  12. zewaemoc I agree with you….

People needs to stop nuthugging Jordan and get over the fact that alot of brands are obviously gonna take inspiration from the bigger, more popular brands. Designers always look for inspiration from other brands, so get over it. Now, Gourmet, they went overboard….they barely changed up anything in the design, so yeah, F**K them……now, Takashi Imai from Madfoot is a huge MJ fan (and a fan of Nike SB’s) and does his stuff to pay respect for the best shoes ever made, and you can hate on Madfoot all you want, but I’ve seen more celebrities in Superfecta (Madfoot’s flagship store) than any other spot in Tokyo (Including BAPE, Ice Cream, Supreme, NBHD etc..,) so there ARE people who aren’t walking around with Jordans testicle in their mouth 24 hours a day who understand where these people are coming from. I love J’s like the next guy but damn, if some shoe comes out in Black and Red I don’t automatically start screaming “Jordan Rip Off!!!” (unless it’s Gourmet…then yes, I scream that at the top of my lungs….)

  13. I like the idea. I dnt skate and wuld never cop these but these wuldnt make a bad skate shoe. I dnt see why these would offend jordan heads, but watever.

agree..supra was fine till they did this. they moving in da wrong direction if they start to produce more of nike wannabes. well the truth is nike is always be king. c’mon supra. no more copying nike colorways. be original. even most brands like new balance and reebok are copying nike. what shame

(To Mike and Ze) Honestly I understand what you guys are saying but Supra is fresh BECAUSE its SUPRA not NIKE….My point to this is its cool to big up Nike and JB for making all of us sneaker heads (Maybe Puma Reebok can get some of that shine too but lets be honest Nike put us all on) but from a creative standpoint orginality is why brands like Supra become fresh and hot…Dude Im a fan because my Supra look completely differnet then any of my other kicks….Im a fan of ATO’s BECAUSE they look different….Im a fan of Alessandro and Raf Simmons BECAUSE they are different….Again my point to this is if I want to rock AJIV, Im just gonna rock my AJIV not something that looks like it…Supra is a real deal company but if this was someone I would say they are just trying to capitalize off the JB market base which is wack…

  16. ^^I feel the same way. I go outta my way to rock stuff that’s different than the “average” stuff out there, I’m just saying, people can’t scream MURDER every damn time a shoe drops in Black and Red…..or has a certain feature that was used on an OG Jordan shoe “first”….the second a shoe drops and they report that some aspect of the shoe was influenced by a Jordan, people act like they just found the guy who murdered their dog….they go absolutely apesh!t….How many young sneakerheads out there scream bloody murder about how Jordan “Jacked” the basic cut of the Jordan I from the Dunk Hi, Terminator Hi and Nike Air Ship….how many people even know that stuff?!?!…not many, if any at all……but they wanna act like Jordans were created by immaculate conception, and everything out there that DARES resemble an OG Jordan shoe is blasphemy lol…..and look at the shoe we’re talking about. It’s a low cut canvas or suede skate shoe that happens to be black and red, and it’s got a bit of mesh on the side. Attack Gourmet…they str8 jack Jordans, I ain’t gonna even try to defend them….maybe attack Madfoot and the lesser known, but over the top crazy ass SPX, but this Supra model isn’t even close to looking like a J in my opinion…..just my two cents…..
