Supra Skytop II Unveiled

Supra Skytop II

Out with the Skytop I, and in with the Skytop II. Here’s what should be the first look, but images of this sneaker leaked months ago. However, this is the official first look of the Skytop II. This particular colorway will be limited to 600 pairs and will release at colette on November 21st. Each shoe is individually numbered, and Chad Muska will be on hand for a meet and greet at the release.

What are your thoughts about the Skytop II?

Just as ugly as the OG’s! Never understood the appeal of Supras. Oh well. If you like it, you like it.

those are tough!!! im feeling the skytop sneaker look. definitly copin. its lite.

  5. It’s kinda sad that they have such a good thing going but still rely on styling cues from another product, oh well. I suspect that they will continue to sell well, though. I can see the rebellious sticking with it….

If they werent as high as they are, this would be a dope shoe. they would damn near touch my calf muscle…

  8. People who don’t see appeal to supra are just other people in the crowd. Most people stick to one brand I see it as expanding people only sticking to nike products are just more people in the crowd. Have your own style supra is one hell of a brand and a wonderful styled sneaker. What’s not to get?

When I was a kid, a Supra was a machine with a Toyota emblem on it. That’s all it’ll ever be to me.

i actually really like these…but these aint for short peeps haha. make them a little smaller and im all over them.

  11. Comment by youngj00 November 5th, 2009 at 7:59 pm

I like these a lot but what I don’t understand is why you would release these at Colette? Colette, why? Release them in these states, clowns!!! There goes Supra killing something good with a crappy release. SMH!!!

  12. i love the side view to this shoe. a bit too high cut for my liking though. maybe pick up a low cut version if they make one like they did for the originals

  13. Comment by CDUB314 November 5th, 2009 at 8:30 pm

  16. Comment by Scotty Rock November 5th, 2009 at 9:38 pm

Aren’t there some ES’s that look like this? Can anyone cosign that statement?

  17. Comment by mosdefinite November 5th, 2009 at 9:48 pm

yikes. OG’s look much better. looks like they just stretched the design which made it uglier.

  18. These are ok, I might cop but I would def have to see then on my feet.

  19. not really feeling these, i do own a few skytops (bronze, camo & timberland), i do think supras can be a little over priced, but so is some of the ish nike drops

  20. Comment by dashoekid21 November 5th, 2009 at 11:10 pm

not my stylo.. i stick to Og sneakers, that nike is puttin out now

  21. I like these. Im a fan of Supra SkyTops so these will be copped. Wear them with some nice fitted jeans and im straight. Good thing im 6′1, I feel these will look weird on short people. Retiring from Skinny Jeans, Im a grown ass 17 year old lol.

  22. Most of the folks in these comments are hating tough! I am a lover of Hightops, and the original skytops are an iconic design. I do agree that short folks can’t really rock em, but I am a 6′8″ pro basketball player, so I guess the hight of the shoe doesn’t really effect me! This skytop 2 is crazy Love them. I do think they bit styles on the tongue a bit, but the Yeezy (Kanye used to rock skytops all the time) bit off the original skytop pretty tough, so I guess there are no rules to bitting in the shoe game! 23. ^^u lie, lol. retiring, yeah right… j/k

  24. Comment by etoranze November 6th, 2009 at 3:30 am

yeah those r fly, highs will never fade

  25. The tongues will touch right below my marble bag…..I’m only 5′8″…..so, I gotta JUST SAY NO…..but design-wise, they’re decent.

  26. LMAO@Erick, Jay, and TM

They remind me of Gourmets with the AJVI bite, but they are cool designwise. Never really got into the super high tops tho. Anyone think the Supra trend will fizzle out one of these days? Or should folks be looking to get some stock in em?

  27. I actually like these and the colors…just wish they weren’t a hi-top….I think mid would suite them better….

BTW…I think most hi-top shoes look crazy when mixed with skinny jeans…

  28. skytop 1 >>>>> skytop 2.i’d like to see them in an all black colourway tho

  29. The only thing I’ll say
    absurd

  30. Comment by Hye Style Kid November 6th, 2009 at 9:58 am

Never really understood or cared for supra i think its for a lot of these younger cats with the skinny jeans on i can give a lil respect to these they aite definitiely wouldnt wear em tho

  31. Comment by Hye Style Kid November 6th, 2009 at 10:05 am

And i think supra will die down not hating but they came around at a good time for the people that rock em fashion wise

  32. Comment by JordanAmbassador4Life November 6th, 2009 at 10:43 am

Look like shoes for a caped crusader. Have to see them in person. Not feeling the Jordan 6 inspired tongue.

  33. Comment by edizzle November 6th, 2009 at 10:56 am

supra will always be just a car to me..nothing more. though these dont look too bad. not worth copping. supra can try but im not buyiing it!

  34. Jordan VI + yeezy + supra = NO DEAL

never liked them before, don’t like them now

  35. Comment by konradsk November 6th, 2009 at 12:59 pm

Not feelin’ Supra’. I’ll leave them to the girly jeans crew.

  36. Comment by Doggin. November 6th, 2009 at 3:01 pm

If they made these water proof they could double as snowboard boots. And Krew is now into the snowboard industry, so why not Supra? Think of that, ugly shoes you could snowboard in. Everybody would jealous.

  37. vi’s? :|

  38. Comment by LeelovesVs November 6th, 2009 at 11:11 pm

Does anybody else see the aj6 inspiration

  39. Comment by O-snap I wear ADMIRALS - U wear Skycrap November 7th, 2009 at 4:59 pm

The lines are to busy. Not feeling it. Could just be the color breaks.
I have to admit DC Life did it better with their ADMIRAL (2) – the ADMIRAL SPORT.
Can’t go wrong with those….. Especially for the 21 and over or even younger. Hands down!!!!!!!!!

  40. Comment by Sn3aker_H0lic November 8th, 2009 at 1:08 pm

these aren’t that bad, although the color scheme looks kinda strange.

  41. Comment by Tony TeXXX November 8th, 2009 at 10:11 pm

these might be ok as a lowtop

  42. Comment by DC DunKing November 9th, 2009 at 11:09 am

not sure about these – BUT the trend is spreading from the MJ Boots to the other retro adidas and reeboks – so High tops are the new winter boots

I don’t personally rock these and could prob not get away with it – DC des not Approve
