Team Jordan Air Jordan 9 PE Cleats

| October 11, 2012 | Comments (4)

The Air Jordan 9 model made quite a buzz this year with colorways from the “Kilroy Pack” like “Fontay Montana” and “Calvin Bailey” versions. Team Jordan decided to bring back the same Air Jordan 9 cleats similar to MJ’s pair when he played Minor League Baseball. Jordan Brand didn’t just slap on some cleats to the AJ 9 model because the shoes had to be modified to be tough enough for the gridiron.

Some of the modifications includes Air Sole units in forefoot and heel for responsive, flexible cushioning. Also the rubber outsole is fitted with an outrigger for lateral support. Look for these AJ 9 PE Cleats to be worn this weekend by Michael Crabtree, Josh Freeman, Dwight Freeney, Andre Johnson, LaMarr Woodley, Hakeem Nicks and Charles Woodson.

  1. The grey blue and white pair looks real nice. They all look nice but I would love to see that paticular pair actually release as a regular jordan 9
