You know…he does make a goooood god damn point….Now I have both the Yeezys and the TK’s….TK’s I had about a month before release..Yeezy’s I had to beast like everyone else…It would have been easy for him to try and diss Yeezy but he really didn’t…Its looking at it from a culture prospective and the truth is a more accessible product is better…Hype creates confusion sometimes….The materials on TK’s are sooo dope…The materials on the Yeezy’s are sooo fresh..but I had to camp over night for them..in the cold NYC night…and still get raped for $250..and thats a GOOOD story compared to some…TK’s are just as dope and I didnt have to go through half that….So the real question is (actually when or if) the Yeezys were a less limited release, would the hype be so great??

Resale is indicitive of the market and what is available…Next thing you know you’ll be telling me how fresh those LV Stephen Sprouse are cause they are soooo expense..lol….TK still go for a a premium (beyond normal skytops) and are pretty much sold out,
Resale doesn’t matter Sick Kicks but I agree Yeezys are better imo.
Yeezy’s are dope as hell but mosty due to the hype and because its Kanye of course and he over does everything. I would love a pair of Yeezys but im not willing to wait overnight for any shoe anymore and paying over $700 for a pair of shoes that im walking on the ground with FORGET IT! The TK’s are clean and a nice comparable shoe for less hassle and a 1/7 of the price. I guarantee ill get just as many ladies this summer in my Purple Skytop TK’s as anybody else will in their overpriced over hyped Yeezy’s. But like i said before I still want a pair of the Black/Pink Yeezy joints…LOL

i fux with the tk’s and yeezy’s. ones a skate shoe and the other is a stunt shoe so it’s no comparison in my eyes. tk was so right about ice cream.
tk seems like a real dude but he’s ignorant. saying how ice creams sell at footlocker. no. in the beginning they did, then skateboard p changed the shit up and took a whoooole other approach. supra can’t touch bbc/ice cream. and the fact how he said “anybody can sell 15 shoes” is bullsh*t. if the yeezys were as available as the society they STILL would sell out. wouldn’t be as hyped but they would still sell out first day
Yeezy’s are better than the TK’s it’s not even close because the Yeezy’s have elements from other shows that I love. Just think if both these shoes released on the same day for the same price and quantity wasn’t an issue the Yeezy’s would sell more.
yeezy way better supras suck, you can go to zumies at the local mall and get supras noboby will wait in line a week for NO SUPRAS and he even admitted that yeezy took him out over all what kind of loser admits to be taken out……….. them supras off like a dirty shirt

^^^ that’s kinda his point….you can’t compare the two…..to be honestly (and I usually think TK is an ignorant bastard) if Yeezys we’re were not as limited a release and still RETAILED at $215…alot of people would pass…Shit CDP’s and the DMP’s came with two pairs of Jays and most people pass…the only pack to do well was the XI/XII and the Carmines…my local spots can’t give them away…Yeezy hype is what it is because IF you DONT cop..you might not have another opportunity…not sure if that makes it a more desirable sneaker but rather a calculated descision…please how many people do you know camped and DIDNT buy them because of the price????

Altogether I prefer the Yeezy, but I definitely respect TK’s grind…and his shoe.

You should reach out to your buyers and by only having 15 pairs of shoes in the store naw it ain’t fair. You supposed to do things for the fans the people who got you were you are. thats REAL TALK, my dog can sell 15 pairs of shoes, man i was ready to hate on him if he said anything about yeezys, but what he said was true, and we would never know how well yeezys would sell if it wasnt so limited. my opinion still stands that the shoes are weak, and i think many can admit after seeing them strapped up, u couldnt even tell they were TKs until he moved his pants over the shoe, but still, im happy to see ppl buying difrent stuff

Why is it when Jordan puts out a limited release or an online only release no one says anything.
We talking about the Yeezy which is only 3000 pairs of a particular colorway of a shoe. People are gonna be on it. That’s where the resale value comes in.
People are loosing their minds if they think that those toro packs are worth $500 resale. Too obtainable for the average person.
Look at the “what-the-dunks”. They were limited release so the resale is out of control. I know a cat that works for a tier 0 SB account skate shop that got the what-the-dunks from nike to test them out for skating. He didn’t pay a dime and flipped them for $1100 cash.
The truth is, no matter how limited a shoe is, it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay. I paid more for my royal blue foams than I did for my YEEZY’S. Some people would look at me and say I’m crazy but it’s true. I wanted them foams bad and it was hard finding a sz 14 (they run small) at the time. I will rock both of them proudly. I buy, I wear…. none of that keeping on ice crap….
I’m trying to wonder where all this hate toward Kanye’s shoe is coming from. I understand if you don’t like it but wow…… it’s hate like that, that pushes that cat to do what he does best and that’s come out with an undeniable product that doesn’t stay on the shelves. ^Well said…I dont hate the Yeezy’s…I own them and love them…My issue is Yeezy “CREATED” demand by making them SOOO limited….In your what the dunk example..there were numerous stops across the country for the What the Dunk tour and each shop got plenty of kicks…As long as you were willing to wait, you got what you came for….The only city that got shut down was NYC and thats cause people lined up at Supreme for 5 days before the release strictly to flip..even then DQM, Nort/Recon, and my DL spot in Jersey still got them….Again the point that TK is making is if..Carrot Top put out a Nike Dunk..all orange and green..and they only produced 10 pairs…and shipped one pair to 10 stores in 10 cities…Hype will insue…Maybe not because people LOVE them..but because that dude in NYC who needs a size 10 but the store only got a 9 will cop to trade with some other dude in another state..and so on and so on…..Case in point is those Coraline Dunks..really nothing special..if they were GR no one would blink..but the resale is stupid (especially for Free kicks) because they are limited…Again SUPER LIMITIED KICKS CREATE CONFUSION….Non the less great post JumpMan..
