Jordan Brand held the official unveiling of the Air Jordan 2010 today at the media event in Miami. The designer behind most of your favorite Air Jordans, “Tinker Hatfield”, Mark Smith, Astor Chambers, D.Wade, and of course MJ was in attendance. We heard the event was baller status! Although leaked images hit the web a few months back, today was the official unveiling of the Air Jordan 2010. I have to be honest, i didn’t know what to think of the shoe at first, but after tinker and mark smith explained all the design aspects that went into the shoe, I can appreciate them more. The thought process why the have the round window in the shoe was pretty interesting. Can’t wait to see them in person
those $hits look horrible. i got a lot of respect for Tinker and Smith, but i dont give a dam who designed the shoes, they look HORRIBLE. to everyone saying they look better than the 2009’s, what does that really say? the 09’s were wack as he11 too. Air Jordan is done, off-court design wise, they are completely GARBAGE. and honestly, i wouldnt even rock these on court if i was still a hooper. these are so terrible looking, what the hell inspired them to put a huge damm disco ball sticking out of the side of the shoe- no excuses…that $hit is wack. i’ve personally NEVER been one to buy anything because of the name attatched, and i feel that is the ONLY reason anybody will get these. and if thats you, you need to hop off Jordans shwack!!!! all you are doing is condoning this bad behavior and giving them reason to keep releasing this nonsense

i was going to watch the video to see what they say about the shoes, but really, after already having seen them, they are not worth the waste of my 9 minutes and 22 seconds. and they can’t say nothing to make me change my mind about the shoes. i let the design tell me whether or not i like it, not the nice things the designers have to say about the shoes that THEY created. they get paid to say good things about them.

first off, HELL TO THE NO. secondly, how stupid are those holes gonna look when you put it on and all you see is your sock inside, WTF ? so see-through J’s are whats hot now !?!? not only that but what if you should happen to get caught in the rain by surprise, youve got two big GIANT perforated holes in each shoe to help get your foot wet. and i guarantee, after the heat/cold/humidity hits that plastic on those holes a few times, theyre gonna do the same thing icy soles do, turn piss yellow. if you think these look better than the 09’s, ya trippin. the 09’s sh*t all over these. hell, fusions sh*t all over these. BIG HORRENDOUS HISTORICALLY EPIC FAIL, JB…….ps. i think its safe to say the AJ XX3 was the end of JB as we knew it…

It looks a little better than the 2009s, but barely. The 2009s have grown more on me, but I still won’t pay even the outlet prices for them. The “transparency” as they liked to call it in the vid really detracts from the shoe’s design appeal.
And this CW is way better than the one in the pics released a while back.
I just don’t know yet… the colorway sucks though and the $170.00 price is not worth it… I need to see a better colorway and in person.

Those look like great basketball sneakers. some of you don’t like them because you can’t wear them with street clothing. but if you like to ball in the park from time to time then this sneaker is for you.

These sound like they are going to be cool to play in but like most other Js who really is hoopin in them? They def remind me of the Kobes. For casual wear these suck. We have all owned something with a clear element on them and whats the first thing that happens? They sweat and look look dumb and like someone said above…they eventually turn yellow. They might as well release these directly to the outlets and save some shipping costs.

Another Sale-Rack bound Jordan….I do agree that the look better than the ’09s, but that is not really saying alot in my opinion. I would copp the new Lebrons before I copp these, and that will (prob) never happen. I would be interested to see how they fare on the court though.

When i first seen the drawing for the 2010 i was optimistic but the finished product im not really feeling too much that big circle of empty space put a jordan logo or something and the ankles it has potebtial but that isnt what i thought it was gonna be a failure to me and sad to say this is what they say the future is

I think lots of us are forgetting that this shoe is a ballin’ shoe first and foremost….. That’s what they all were…. we are the ones that made it an off-the-court shoe. That 09 is a great shoe to ball in (Shout out to all my ballers). They may not be the best to look at but I bet they are comfortable as h3!!…. IMO it’s not a shoe to wear casually but dem boys Tinker & Smith know how to sell a shoe….LOL….. Don’t think for a minute that I am going to be buying these shoes at retail but let me come across these the way I did the 09s for $60 and these are going down….. Forget what ya heard.

Not a fan of the huge window on both sides at all. Take that away, or make it smaller and on the inner side of the shoes only and I would likely buy. With the way they are, chances are slim that I will purchase a pair.
I have seen a pic of someone putting them on their feet, it’s just weird with the window on the sides. NO, I will not cop. I think this time I will say what most have been saying… I am sticking to RETROS.

I think people are losing sight that its a Signature Shoe! That it should blur the line between on court performance and off court rocking! Yes some Jay’s did this task better than others but they should always keep their eyes on the prize! I mean who rocks AJ1’s-AJ13’s to ball in today? (I know some people do, the exception proves the rule) But throw some Raw One Ounce Demin with them and even Leroy Smith could not elevate your game any Higher!
Not feeling those at all, even though Tinker was on board for this one (and that speaks VOLUMES
)…Seems like they’re trying to be really conceptual but the end result show that there’s TOO MUCH concept in it and it doesn’t give the expected result. Retros are where it’s at: good on court AND off court.

Im messin w/um. I almost liked the 2009s…they were cool minus the stiletto heel and the bulky toe box. I like the black/red/grey colorway better though…I really appreciate the technology tho. If these feel good on my feet I’ll probably cop. I’m a sucker for shoes that feel great. And lets be real…many Jordans have not been liked when they first came out. Alot of Jordans sort of have an “aquired taste” aspect to them. I know some will always hate these, but foreal foreal I think thy’re cool and certainly unique and unlike any other basketball shoe I’ve seen. ONE thing I wish was different about the shoe is the see-through circle…I think it looked better with a Jordan silhouette in it.
And oneeeeeeeee more thing! It seems like almost everybody hates anything Jordan does that Isn’t a retro…I certainly do not like many Jordans that have been releasing recently but they have been releasing some shoes that are good. Like Jay Z says…”niggas want my old shit…buy my old album!”…if you only like Old Jordans than just stick to old Jordans and stop hatin on everything thats new.
D. Wade stays in some wack ass shoes so these most def will fit him well. They remind me of some of those Converse he use to wear. I’ve seen Jumpans look better than this. Don’t tell me how good these feel on the feet, if that was the case New Balance would be the king of sneakers. Some of you are so hypnotized by the Jordan logo that you’ll do anything to stay loyal.

I think that performance wise they will be nice. I will try and get a pair after they go on sale, but there are other kicks I want to play in as well. The full length zoom has me VERY interested though… I love me some Zoom! THe look of the shoe is still retarted I have to say. And I dont know what was worse, the giant logo and the giant window. They should have just take that out along with the whole side panel and replaced it with flywire, that would keep it light, form fitting and durrable without looking cheezy. OR they should have kept the flu games the way they used to be and stuck that stupid sick face in place of the window… thats the face everybody has when they look at these anyways so it would be JUST LIKE looking into a mirror of “your own soul” lol. Anyways, Ill wait to see how they perform before I totally trash the shoe.
