The Reebok Kamikaze Is Back!
Sneaker companies have learned that bringing back original models is good for business, and with that said, Reebok decided to bring back the Kamikaze. Change is good sometimes, but most of Reebok’s OG fans would prefer the original version of the Kamikaze. The shoe that was once upon a time worn and endorsed by Shawn Kemp returns with an overall new look. Move over Hexalite and make room for Reebok’s HexRide technology. As you can see, that’s not the only thing Reebok changed.
We got our first look at the Kamikaze 2010 last month in the white/green/black colorway. Although it was previously reported that the new Kamikaze would release in 2010, we can confirm that they have already hit stores. If you can recall, the previous news previewed the white/green model, but three colorways are now available. Check with your local retailers for more info.

If Reebok wants to survive they need to bring back some true classics like the OG Kamikaze, Kamikaze II, and all Shaq shoes, obviously they wouldn’t be able to use the dunkman logo or the shaq name but who cares.
I’m sure I’ll pick up the White/Black/Green colorway just cause they do remind me of my OG Kamikaze, brings back good memories!!

These kamikazes 2010 are available in footlocker and Champs at least. I tried them, they are very lightweight, cool design and they feel like if you were walking on hard rubber. The only problem is that they are very hard, probably with the use they break in. For those who think that it is a fail, they were sold out in black/white/green…. black & blue are so so.
I tried the original kamikazes back in 1994, they were more comfortable but very heavy.
I think Reebok will retro the originals in 2011 along with the kamikazes 4.
