The World’s Most Expensive Sneaker Collection ($2.5 Million)

Are you a hypebeast that just got in the shoe game last week looking for some cool points from the sneakerheads in your city? Do you have $2.5 Million to blow? If you said yes then eBay seller retromon42o is the man you need to see. In his recent auction he offered a collection of 250 pairs of sneakers, and his asking price was $2.5 milli. That’s silly huh? What if we told you some beast baller actually broke bread and spent $2M on this collection? You would flip out, but that’s not at all the case.

However, this is news worthy and will go down in the shoe game Guinness World Record Book. Until this day, Ben Baller aka K Town Hu$tler holds the crown for the highest sneaker collection ever sold on eBay. Ben’s dope sneaker collection auction wasn’t even close to a milli, and it was packed with HEAT. Retromon42o’s collection does have some heaters, but not $2.5M worth. You peep the video and let us know what you think. Also, check out the pics after the jump.

man 2.5 mill? HAHA someone on ebay is gonna go buy that, okay. thats $10000 per pair of shoes…trust me i did the math

  4. LOL at he wasting money on those ebay fees. I see some hot kicks but not that hot.

  5. Huge collection, but not worth anywhere near millions; that’s ridiculous.

If Im gonna spend 2 mil on kicks I def aint doin it on a buch of F*cking Dunks man! Ide spend 2 mil on EVERY Jordan released since 1985 but thats bout it. That sh*t would need to include all colorways and samples to be spendin that kind of cash. F*cking 2 mil on Dunks and a few Jays that I already got, hahaha! This dudes crazy!

  7. Lol, way too much money… Nice crib though!

Man this auction has been on ebay forever and I mean like 5 months! Nobody is that stupid if you have 2.5 mill to blow you can easily go to flight club or the net and purchase all these kicks for about any where from 70000-13000 depends on how cheap you can get some of the more exclusive kicks. And at one time all dude wanted was like 40000 what happend to his head!

  9. he’s had this listing on ebay before & it went from $60K to $2.5 million. i guess he went from trying to make rent in that loft/condo/apt to trying to pay that mofo off

  10. Seen this on ebay a few months ago, crazy amount of shoes, though tbh it is quantity over quality, some very very good pairs there though

  11. This is definitely not worth it…..10 Bands per pair is ridiculous….no pair of shoes in the world is worth 10 bands. The sneaker game is getting out of hand because of these type of people. Now other “ebayers” and Nike are gonna see this and raise the retails even more because they see ppl will still actually buy em. Nike pays ppl less than a dollar to make these shoes and expects us to pay $300 for a pair. Then the “ebayers” see that price and want us to pay $10,000 for pair. I remember when Jordan came out with the 17’s for $200 and my hood was looking at Jordan crazy. I don’t think any shoe should be retailed over $200. Only shoes that should be over 2 bills is a OG pair of Jordans or aextremely limited pair. And Every pair can’t be limited. I still love sneakers as much as I always did but some people are just trippin now.

juss cause the auction ended and it say it ended wit a bid of 2.5 mil dnt mean he actually got any money for it…i can put up a pair of ogs and have some one i no but a million dolla bid on em and make it seem like that …. i dnt believe it for a sec…and uniteus…if each pair went for 10000 y would he sell u any of the ones u want??? u dnt have 10000 to spend on 1 pair…hell no one who go 2 this site does cause if they did have 10000 2 spend on 1 pair of kiks they dnt need 2 no when wats comin out…cause they can prolly get any pair of shoe made for them

  21. for 2.5 million dollars, i better not catch anyone else with the same pair of shoes that i have in my collection!!!
    real effin rap!!!

  22. ^^LOL….I agree….for that money I want some Marty McFly’s that come with a working hoverboard so I can fly to work, and I want Michael Jordan to not only sign all my J’s, but he’s gotta let me dunk on him in public 1000 times, and then feed me grapes as I lay out in the sun and get darker….

This collection’s nice but NOT worth anything close to 2.5M….

  23. ^^lol dat was sum funny shit

  24. ^^i concur with your concurrence RJ & TM! REAL TALK!! if i was spending 2.5 million on kicks i would by a new pair everyday for the rest of my life JSANDSBS!!! Good Hustler @ heart, meant nothing but serious business here…went from 40k to 2.5M!!! Nice collection but More SB’s then Jordan’s & not worth the asking price if u ask me…hahahahaha

I wouldnt spend $10,000.00 on that collection. This is all hype because of who he “thinks” he is. I can obtain any and all the shoes pictured for way under what they are claiming he spent.
