They Say: Gatorade Air Jordan 6?
Rumors have been floating around for quite some time now about a collabo between Gatorade and Jordan Brand. A collabo or some type of Air Jordan paying homage to Gatorade does make sense seeing that Michael Jordan was a proud endorser for Gatorade.
Remember the “Be Like Mike” Gatorade commercial from 1992? MJ was rocking the Air Jordan VI (6) in the commercial and rumor has it that Jordan Brand will release a Gatorade inspired Air Jordan 6. Some people say it’s the Infrared 6′s and some say it’s a Gatorade colored AJ6. Only time will tell!

I can’t see them coming with a green and orange colorway (I also didn’t see them bring out that Olypic colorway either) so hopefully it is the infared.
Either colorway would be dope, infrareds are of course a classic and I’m sure if they do make a gatorade 6 inspired colorway I’m sure it would be dope.

gentry humphreys is a clever guy like that, i think he will release the shoes in the commercial, i dont think this dude will kill it with ugly colors, call it what u want but jordan and air force fusions are clever, just dosnt look nice

I feel you on the inspiration tip but yeah i wouldnt mind seeing those III’s or them VI’s you talkin about but JB is startin to lose alot off creativity he need to retro some more jumpman series jordans cuz i miss those….But he should just release all the shoes he made championship in instead of doing the 6ring championship combo i dont like that…..But hopefully JB will stop with all the hype and justrelease all his retro’s instead of this bull he releasing now (fusions{confusions lol}) if you get my drift….

Infrared sounds great in theory, more like wishful thinking. If it’s gonna be a gatorade collab it’s obviously going to have the gatorade colors somehow. Nike can retro the infrareds anytime, doesn’t really have anything to do with Gatorade even if he had them on in a gatorade commercial.
lol the six rings were a success, so why not keep the creative ball rolling, lol i hate when people try to front on the six rings like they aren’t the hottest jordans that were out in awhile and i love the fusions also.

if they’re called air jordan retro 6 gatorade edition they will obviously b of a gatorade themed colorway…they’re not gunna re release the infrareds…JB is about creativity and a re release isn’t creativity

TSG reader “Havi-Air” told me about these Gatorade VI’s before, i hope they dont over do the colorway, i really like the VI’s and would be disappointed to see a ugly shoe.

by now it is certain that some sort of gatorade 6s will come out and i hope that both a orange colored and infared colorway release.

im imagining it having the basic flavors of gatorade colors like red for fruit punch,grape for grape,orange for orange etc… so it will probably have alot of colors like the olympic version
From what I understand the 6′s will be black with Max Orange, which looks just like infrared (much the same as the new Skylines)….I know cats that have been to press events and Nike events open to the media only…seen the DMP’s coming this summer, the ATCQ Jordan 1′s and some of the summer joints but have not seen these…I believe the release date is set sometime in Feburary but still no PICS….on jumpman 23, the clothes have already been released and there is a black/max orange t shirt and hoody..but the infrared or max orange Jordan 1 are also coming Febuary 14th so…Im starting to think the 6′s might be ducktales…..Good post G…
