Rumors have been circling about possible releases of the Air Jordan III, IV, and VI being reproduced this year. “They Say” Nike Air will be featured on an Air Jordan retro this year. Yes, the biggest downfall in the minds of sneaker Jordan heads will be corrected in ‘09. No other information is known at this time but we will confirm once facts have been revealed. This seems to be an interesting year for Jordan Brand.

this good news and bad news, the nike air logo is classic but if they do bring it back i feel like they are messing up part of the history of air jordans. i am just saying that they (JB) should not change their logo for more profit because after all it is all about the sneakers.

I seriously doubt that this would happen just because of branding issues….people dont realise that Nike is kinda like the EU (European Union to my slow readers out there)..It a block of collected companines making up one union…You have SB, Nike Running, Nike Sportswear, Nike Basketball, Nike 6.0, and Jordan Brand (and Im sure a ton of other stuff im forgetting)…In order for Jordan Brand to share the branding of Nike Lifestyle (Nike Air Logo) it would have to be a collabo..which doesn’t really happen….When Nike Air was on Jay’s…there was no Jordan Brand…it all sat under one division…Why do you think we’ve never seen a JB SB collabo…the only one that made it too production was the J-Rods (OG with Jumpman on the back) and rumors were Tinker went balllistic over that….

This would be great news…if it wasn’t rumored every year for the last 3 years that NIKE AIR was coming back. Remember the rumor that NIKE AIR was gonna be on the CDP III’s, IV’s, V’s, and VI’s? Maybe when JB starts losing sales then the NIKE AIR could make a comeback, but they got ya’ll scooping up fusions and Six Rings….they don’t have to give us NIKE AIR.

WHEN THE AIR JORDAN IV RELEASED IN 1999 (WITH NIKE AIR) JORDAN BRAND WAS OVER THE BRAND. THE BOX DIDN’T SAY NIKE, IT CAME WITH THE JUMPMAN LOGO. I’M JUST GOING BY WHAT I THINK, SO SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG. WITH ALL THAT SAID. I THINK THEY JUST MIGHT BRING BACK THE NIKE AIR.

When we camped for the finales, the store owner told us some stories of how upset the Nike rep became because some Air Jordans were being displayed on Nike purchased pieces of furniture. Supposedly comments were made, some instructions were given and it apparently left a permanent watermark on the company’s leadership and SOP… Also consider our position in history, we are in completely uncharted territory. For some this recession is a source of fear, panic and frenzy… For others its simply exciting… intoxicating even!?!? But for most businesses its a desperate time and desperate times call for desperate measures (proverbial aside). Jordans were and always will be special edition Nikes. Give us the fucking Swoosh back. WE WILL CONSUME THEM LIKE 1 DOLLAR NUGGETS. Try to rape and they might as well be fake bapes, though.

CODY…thats actually incorrect….while the OG Jordan VI DOES feature the Jumpman…its is located only on the bottom of the sneaker and also on the box….Above the box tag, is the more important Nike Air…here is a blurb about JB and why the air is missing ((Air Jordan Shoes were a part of the Nike, Inc. family until late in 1997 Nike unveiled a new marketing plan and Jordan became its own sub-brand of Nike.
