Time Best Inventions of the Year – Nike Flyknit Racer

Time has named the 25 best inventions of 2012 which includes things like Indoor Clouds, NASA’s Z-1 Space Suit, Self-inflating tires, and the Nike Flyknit Racer? That’s right, the Flyknit Racer was praised for its use of eco-friendly materials, the make of the shoe and the fit.

It’s interesting to see a sneaker make it on a list of top inventions for 2012, since it’s just a sneaker. At the same time though, it’s more than a sneaker, as Time’s mention of the Nike Flyknit Racer shows how brands are continuing to advance their products themselves.
