Tinker Hatfield Working On Very Top Secret Converse Project

If you watched the Tinker Hatfield Q&A back in October, you already know that Tinker has been working on the Kobe line as well as working with Converse. What exactly is Tinker working on with Converse? That’s a question we would all like to know. To keep us wondering, in a recent interview with Sneaker Freaker, Tinker hinted that he’s currently working on a very top secret Converse project.
Well make sure you get to the dessert at least! It must be interesting for you to work on Converse shoes after a lifetime at Nike.
I’ve actually always been a Converse fan. I grew up wearing Chucks before there was a Nike and I ultimately switched to Adidas products when I got better and better at sports until I finally went to college and Nike had started. But I was always a Converse kid and I thought it was great when we bought the company because I always wanted to have them in my closet anyhow. So being able to contribute to the future of Converse has been pretty fun. And I’m working on a very top secret project right now!
That’s the only info Tinker shared about the top secret project. Only time will tell.
Thoughts?

First!!!!! < ROFL….Remember that ish?
In the past i would have been looking foward to it. But the 2010 and the 2011 Jordans has me second guessing his design choices. The puting the hole in the shoe crap really was sad.
Matt Damon, I loved Good Will Hunting. Good ish
we will see what he can do. he hasnt amazed as he used to but only time will tell
@ LA 2 Tha Bay
Thanx I love hearing from my fans. Make sure you check out my latest work True Grit.
he’s still the GOAT of sneaker designers so I’m curious what he’ll do with converse
ahhh, look at my lovely military 4s chillin in the bckground!
hopefully its somethin revolutionary like Dr.j’s or converse weapons.
He snapped with the 2010′s so yeah im on the edge of my seat.
Maybe a new Dr. J Converse shoe? Cons needs to get LJ back on the payroll and steal him from whack@$$ FILA.
I’ll be happy with a pair of those Mowabbs in the background, and Jordan 3s look great even on paper.
This one is simple and should have been the first thing he did when Nike acquired Converse. A limited edition Converse Jordan in the Carolina colorway. The same ones he wore when he hit the shot against Georgetown. Then instead of a jump man logo you do a new logo of him hitting the shot, on the side. Ala sheeds logo on the Air Force Ones. Now pay me NIKE!!!!!
I’d love to see it be the rumored Jordan signature designed to get him to sign with Converse way back when.
“I thought it was great when we bought the company because I always wanted to have them in my closet anyhow.” Who else can say that?
