Good evening, and welcome to TSG 6 O’Clock Footwear News for January 15, 2010. Our 6 O’Clock news covers Puma, Converse, Vans, Nike and Jordan Brand footwear.
Puma will release new First Rounds with mesh detailing. No word on when these will be available at Puma retailers, but it should be soon.
Converse unveiled new footwear from their skate collection at the Agenda show last week. The sneakers are called the CVO Mid and they are covered in buttery suede. Dropping later on this year.
Coming to Vans Vault accounts around June is two new Sk8 Hi LX models. Dropping in a head-turning red colorway and a clean black on black colorway.
The original Jordan 1 meets today’s top performance technology. 25 years later the shoe has been improved with new technology. Learn more here.
Get up close and personal with the HWC (Hardwood Classic) Air Max LeBron VII. Before you get excited, we were told these will not release to the public.
LeBron James is the definition of a true All-Star, and this year LeBron will rock the All-Star Air Max LeBron VII. We posted images yesterday, but this photo provides a better look. We’re hoping Nike will make a All-Star MVPuppets video to promote Kobe and LeBron’s ASW kicks.

The other day we posted They Say info about the return of the Concord Air Jordan 11 and Cool Grey Air Jordan 11. We also caught wind about the “Infrared Pack” towards the end of 2009, but it seem to good to be true. Well, They Say this pack is actually suppose to release this year. According to the info provided:
Tentative release date of 15th-19th June 2010 (according to Nike Australia)…Pack style number: 398850-901 *Thanks to spacej23 for the following information:* “The pack will be $US310 and the individual style numbers are as follows: White/Infrared – 384664-103 Black/Infrared – 384664 – 003 Availability for this pack shows the month of June.”

gregs & haux did ya’ catch the Mavericks game last night? Josh Howard was rocking the 12′s, I think it was a PE though.. kinda look like the flint grey’s not too sure.. As for the international release I doubt it for the fact that I heard there are still alot of shoes sitting & collecting dust over there.. also, remember how the “Cool Grey’s” & “Nelly’s” Spiz’ike’s were suppost to be international release in 08′? but then again the True Blues were.. rumors were going around that they were testing the waters with the international release & we should be getting them this or next year..

Black/Varsity (Elmo, Rudolph, etc…) Red ~ Had these in hand Monday with all the connections to lock-down a pair before release. Living in NW Pennsylvania I’ve already got way too many kicks that are 3 season and don’t see the light of day unless conditions are just right… there’s no way I could ever pick up the suede VI’s as they’re clearly more high maintenance then a Kardashian. They look GREAT in person… not ashy at all… super rich color but that suede scared me off. Honestly, I’ll be perfectly happy with the White/Varsity-Red

Starz I didn’t see the game but I don’t think they’re PEs, just the pair they’ve had. I don’t think bibby is wearing PE wht/red/blk 13′s to wear this season, and I don’t think he got a new pair from JB this season either. I think they just dug in their closets or bedrooms they turned in to closets.

I been thinking and I kind of know which retro 11 is coming out this year. it’s the cool grey. notice that j.b didn’t drop the cool grey 9′s with all the other 9′s coming out because there saving it for the retro 11. Also I called nike corp and they said most likely in 2011 or 2012 since they’re droppin the black/red 6′s and white/red 6′s.

^ BRINX AND CONCERNED OTHERS. my bad I was eating while commenting. the infrared pack is coming in a year or two. – the cool greys have a greater chance dropping this year than the concords. As told by nike corps operation officier -as for the slam dunk pack, it’s not coming . but the true blue’s are on there way to the u.s before the year is over.
