Kenlu and Pony linked up for a sneaker project.
PONY, born in Brooklyn 1972, work with KENLU.net, Taiwan based sneakers community, this winter to release a special collaboration kicks “DREAM”
Shoes are defined by color and size. You’re always try to pick up something in the array. But DREAM is measured by neither of them.
Building a own shoe design is always like a dream to all sneakers heads!
We follows the inspiration from Spud Webb and Martin Luther King, Jr. who pursued their dreams with unmatchable courage and talent.
Thus, the shoe labels its right foot with “NOT BY SIZE” and the other with “NOT BY COLOR” .
The shoe’s upper is very clean and keeps mostly with canvas and its classic PONY logo in tonal black. Tongue and toe are made in high quality leather.
In order to enhance its linkage to basketball shoes, this canvas silhouette carries with special designed hidden lace eyelet like most nowaday performance kicks.
The red heel counter inside the shoe takes hint from the kicks from Spud Webb’s jersey-matched kicks colorway .
Li-Ning will introduce new styles called the Defend and Conquer. Stay tuned!
New Balance and Crooked Tongues got together for the launch of the Pub Pack last night. No word on when the pack is going to hit New Balance retailers.
Nike is going to release a new colorway of the Air Structure. Look for them to hit stores late this month or early October.
