Unreleased Nike Dunk Low SB “Loon” Sample
The “Loon” SB Dunk was originally set to release late 2004 or 2005, but they were scrapped from Nike’s SB line up. Over the past three years pics of the Loon’s have floated across the net, but I’ve never seen up close various angles until now. The Loon’s never released, but a handfull of samples made their way into die-hard SB heads collections. Loon samples were and still are very hard to obtain unlike most samples from the previous years.
They feature a neutral grey and green spark colorway. The Loon is Minnesota’s state bird and Nike rep Rob Sissi picked the theme for this unreleased Dunk. The black and white dotted pattern was indeed inspired by the Loon’s feather’s.  Green Spark was added to give the Dunks some flavor.
The Loon SB Dunks are extremely rare and highly sought after by SB collectors. Although these will not be landing at your local SB accounts I thought it would be nice to post up close pics of the beautiful Loon Dunks.
