Unreleased Nike Zoom Vick 5 – Black/ Red/ Cement
The Zoom Vick 5 was originally set to release August 23rd, but due dogfigthing charges Nike decided to terminate Michael Vick’s contract. Nike said they consider any cruelty to animals inhumane, abhorrent and unaccceptable. They terminated his contract shortly before the official release for the AZV5, and the AZV5’s remain unreleased to date. Rumors indicated that once Nike cut Vick, the AZV5’s would get shipped to Nike outlets. According to the info provided the AZV5 will not be available at Nike outlets. Instead Nike shredded majority of the pairs and others were sent to Boys and Girls Clubs. Once the shoes are shredded they’re used in the “Grind Project” to make basketball courts and playgrounds. The same process occurs with other unreleased shoes, but sometimes a few pairs get out of Nike’s hands.
Speaking of a few pairs getting out, we were able to obtain a pair. This pair comes in black, metallic silver, cement and varsity red. Nike has never used cement print on any of the shoes in the Zoom Vick line. The AZV5 is packed with tons of details that you were unable to see in the catalog pic. For the first time ever, we would like to offer you an up close and personal look at the unreleased Zoom Vick 5.

I would first like to say Zoom Vick 5 > Zoom Vick 4 IMO
In my eyes I feel the Vick 1 and Vick 2 were the best so far. However the Vick 5 is not bad at all. When I saw the catalog pic with cement print I was like “?”. They don’t look bad at all in person and they give off an old skool vibe, just how I like it.

A.I Vick was wrong but he’s human and we all make mistakes. I have to disagree with you because the shoes look really good. To bad Nike didn’t release them. I would have copped a pair once they went on sale
