Usain Bolt x Puma RS1

This sneaker silhouette was introduced back in the 1980′s, it started out as a cross country classic but now the shoe is getting an entire materials revamp for Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. With the inspiration behind the sneaker coming from such an electrifying athlete, it was only right to start for the first colorway to be a bright neon bolt and a light subtle grey.

Incorporating a very thin mesh like material and suede for the upper also a neon trinomic midsole is added for superior comfort and stability. Light grey color matched laces and Usain Bolt’s name are added to the tongue to finish off the look.  All in all, Puma did an exceptional job on these, making a retro that kept the overall look with added flare for the 2011 consumer.
