The Vans “Pura Vida” collection just landed at a handful of accounts. The phrase “Pura Vida” is a common greeting in Central America, meaning everything from “Hello” to “Goodbye” to “That’s Cool”. The Spanish translation means pura life.
Pura Vida artwork is featured on the models in this collection. The Sk8 Hi and Slip-On is available in black. A brown/tan Sk8 Hi and Slip-On is also available. It’s being said that the Pura Vida collection is very rare, so check with your local Vans retailer for more info.

Pura vida comes from the latin languages, it’s the same in spanish and portuguese, and it’s used for what you described but it doesn’t mean pura life, it means “pure life”.
