I’ve been meaning to post this for a very long time. Wale made this song entitled “Kicks” for Greg Street’s Sneakerboxx & The Laces Below mixtape. A couple months after TSG launched we gave away TONS of the mixtapes, and that’s when I heard this song. This was around the same time when we posted the first detailed look of the Air Tech Challenge retro samples. Greg Street put together the limited edition (2,000 units) Sneakerboxx & The Laces Below mixtape for the Lupe Fiasco concert.
