Wale’s album is maybe 2 outa 5 stars.. im no drake fan but Drake is def better than wale
Wale sucks. I don’t even know where this dude came from. All of the sudden he popped out of nowhere, and people say how great he is. I heard his music, and it’s really NOTHING SPECIAL.

The thing is, Wale is the best thing coming out of the this area in a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time…and still ain’t all that. The production is what really sets him apart, but lyrically I don’t see what the big deal is. I’m old enough to remember when cats would get punched in the face for biting lines…I’ve heard this dude take his fair share of other people’s stuff from Black Thought/Rammelzee to Jay-Z. So while I’m packing my bags to move the hell out of this bullsh!t @ss town…DC need to take it back to 93 and stick to go go…the sad part is even that go go now is some garbage right about now.

I was feeling like a lot of you cats but I just gave his album a listen and to my shame…. I actually like the album. Well put together in my opinion….. I don’t care where he’s from but good music is good music.
the problem with u quote on quote fans now a days is that ya’ll don’t understand artist are just trying to get paid out here. they don’t give a fuck about wat they put on the album just as long as u cop that album so they can make the money. Hip Hop is clearly no longer an art anymore just a industry to profit off of people.

hey j_collector… trust me my dude…. I been listening to hip-hop since ’88. This dude Wale (and believe me, I was a Wale HATER “BIG TIME”) is not just giving you the content that all these rappers are dishing out right now….. You can tell he is actually thinking about the structure of his rhymes, the hooks the word play and collaborations. I was surprised at how well thought out the album is… Just my opinion.

Wale is the truth and you haters need to get off his jock. Real talk most people critical of wale and other new rappers dont even listen to em. they listen to one or 2 songs and give em a grade when it takes ten times more than that to know. I live pretty close to the Bistro but I’ll pass on goin 2 meet this cat. I’m not impressed with his act. Maybe if there was a limited pair of kicks dropping there then i might go.
The reason why I am saying this is because these guys have been getting all this credit and they havent proved themselves yet! I just heard the album…. I was very Impressed. This guy can make music! I mean quality music…. he passed lets see what the sophmore holds. I hope people actually buy the album not bootleg it because we all know that Shawn Carter shelves music.
