We told you so! Nike Air Yeezy Coming Out in March 2009 – Confirmed by Kanye West
TSG broke the news about the confirmed 2009 release info for Kanye’s Air Yeezy on October 13th. Images of Kanye’s Air Yeezy has been floating around the web since he was first spotted rocking the black colorway at the 2008 Grammy’s. Yeezy finally gives his fans and all the Air Yeezy beasts some confirmed info in regrads to release for the Air Yeezys. The sneaker is suppose to be a non-profit shoe which means Kanye will not be making any money. We’ve also been told that the Air Yeezy will be very hard to obtain, but we also heard something along the lines of a Quickstrike release. Time tells everything! Peep what Kanye had to say below:
I’m gonna start releasing some of the pieces online starting in January. The jacket from the AMA’s, the Warrior hood that I wore at the Dior show and this one here. I actually designed this one and the jacket from the AMA’s less than 3 weeks ago! I’m really happy with them! Sidebar: The Louis Sneakers are coming out REEEEETARDED and the Yeezy’s drop in march. 808’s and Heartbreak is a good album. my favorite from him next to College Dropout. but this news really put a smile on my face. now that’s 3 pairs of kicks that i plan on copping in 2009 can’t wait to see what colorways are dropping.
