ahh yes… i’m all for progression but in terms of user friendliness, this “retro” look is still the bomb!
I actually like the newer look but the only big issue I had was that I couldn’t scroll down and see article after article. There was only snippets.
I think it could have worked just without those 4 boxes that had different categories or stuff in it. Just go from the featured stories to the recently added ones and keep it in blog form.
Anyway, I like the varsity red look too lol

I’m with PhilWil… I think you could easily incorporate some of the new functions from the BETA site just as long as us simple folk can still have the user friendly big banging pictures in chronological order postings! That was my only complaint but I really liked how you had set-up the tag/category lists and what not. I’m looking at some blank space to the left & right of my screen now
^DOAH… list on right of screen already! See, my wife would tell you… I just don’t look hard enough sometimes! I still think you could hybrid or fusion the two versions nicely!!! Load times did lag though.

In this case basic is best and the retro vars-red TSG is more Blackberry friendly. I still wish I had a TSG app tho, anyhow WELCOME BACK ol friend!!!

I’m loving the Varsity Red Retro G-Roc…loving it.
Like Lem said, it’s hard to get over a classic. I’m glad to see you went back to the original look that we all loved. Good looking out TSG!!!

I might be the only person who like the other version better. I thought it was actauly easier to navagate. All the posting were there and I like how u had older post catogarized. Old version is dope but I thought new version was the future. I guess it’s true that most people don’t adapt well to change. But I would settle for a hybrid between the two. Maybe u should have a vote for either New, Old, or hybrid version and see who wins.

Good Job G…and you know you my dude and I respect the fact that growth is important to you…keeps you hungry..Im always open to change I just didnt like the Feng Shui (google that)of it all…Seemed somewhat convoluted….I like the flow of the site..I digged the hi res graphics…looked very slick just didnt flow right…It would be very easy to miss drops and info….Keep trying though my dude…you know we are here with our opinionated asses…

I’m glad it’s back to the og way. However, I did like some of the organization on the new site, but think only certain things should be grouped together in categories but only in archival form.

daamm thank the lord g-roc….i wasnt feeling it at all….love nothing but the tsg i first seen for these last two years…i was sour on how the it started first looking like nice kicks but overall thanks is all back to normal
yo g rock so glad u changed it back. I was gonna say TSG is going downhiill. This layout is just point blank 100% first page info no looking or anything nice and simple. Keep it forever no joke.
