The latest XX8 Days of Flight takes us to the Air Jordan XVIII model. This model has a luxurious look to it thanks to the premium suede-wrap upper.
With a suede wrapped upper, the luxurious Air Jordan XVIII includes dual-layer Zoom Air and a “Drivers Manual” for its owners.
MJ wore this special model for his last game on April 16, 2003. When it first released, it also came with a brush and towel to help clean off the premium suede materials.

Clean…it should have been black suede though. I’m a sucker for black suede.
2 observations:
1) why didn’t they make these black suede? The description is somewhat comical when you realize the shoes are actually leather.
2) when you look at all of the J’s in the same colorway/materials, you can definitely see the similarities between models. It’s actually pretty dope that the shoes are all so different, but maintain a lot of similar design characteristics.

These ar aight. Never really liked 18s. The wht/royal joints grew on tho after seeing aaron miles (kansas jayhawks point gaurd, early last decade) was rockn on the court with perfectly placed jordan headband on his head. Don’t like kansas but thought them joints looked good w/ their unies. Ha!
