Nike went at Bape with a patent leather rampage in 2006, but it started with the '05 Easter AF1's. In 2006 fruity flavor patent leather AF1's were the go to sneaker for Air Force 1 heads. The colorways was nicknamed the "Citrus" AF1 due to it's bright lime green (lemon lime), orange (orange), and yellow (lemon) make up.
