It’s NOT ‘What The’ Air Jordan 1 + More 2016 Info
Sneaker info leaking is nothing new, and whether you care about the info or not, it’s always nice to get the scoop early.
With leaks come a lot of rumors, but TSG can confirm a few stories plus provide new info to put everyone at ease. Check out the breakdown below:
“What The” Air Jordan 1
Earlier this week Modern Notoriety published news regarding a Jordan 1 that features three OG colorways. The shoe is indeed a real thing (photo is just a mockup by Kickposters), however, it’s not a “What The” Air Jordan 1. Trust me, we are just as tired of the “What The” concept as everyone else.
Here’s the deal: the concept is inspired by the three most iconic Jordan 1 colorways – Chicago, Bred, and Royal. There is a name attached that TSG will gladly confirm when we get the green light. Just know it’s NOT called “What The” and it’s NOT a rumor. However, when they drop you can call them whatever you want. Ha!
Kobe Air Jordan 9
This info was teased on IG by the Baltimore plug, Dino Hatfield, and then Sole Collector published an article which added to the excitement/speculation. The info is not a rumor, the Kobe Air Jordan 9 (White/Purple) will drop this year.
Olympic Air Jordan Pack
To be honest, so much info leaks nowadays it’s hard to keep up. From my understanding I haven’t seen any mention of the Jordan 5 info.
Jordan Brand will release an Olympic Air Jordan Pack this year. The shoes will be sold separately. One Jordan 5 is Black/Bronze and the other Jordan 5 is White/Gold. There’s also an Air Jordan 7 that’s very similar to the original colorway, but with a few changes.
Flip Air Jordan 12
The original White/Red Air Jordan 12 color blocking will trade places. The red toe area is white and the white upper is red.
Space Jam Air Jordan 11
Yes, it’s really happening! But I know this is not new intel. However, in addition to the Space Jam 11, Jordan Brand will be releasing a gang of official Space Jam apparel, including, jersey, socks, tees, Tune Squad & Monstars, etc.
