As the story goes, Grant Taylor is the son of former professional skater Thomas Taylor, who also owns Atlanta's most popular skate shop, Stratosphere*.* Grant has been signed to Nike SB since he was a kid (10-12 years old).

I know this because I used to buy a lot of my SBs from Stratosphere and converse with his dad. Thomas was always a moody guy, but he was nice to me. He used to love talking about Grant and Nike SB.

I remember being jealous of Grant because Nike SB laced him with all the fire back in the day. Thomas used to have a lot of Grant's SB Dunks on display at the shop.

Grant isn't a kid anymore (26 years old), but he has always loved the Blazer since his youth years. So it's not shocking to see another Grant Taylor designed Nike SB Blazer. This pair is special and pays homage to his hometown, Atlanta, GA.

The Bruised Peach Nike SB Blazer Low just dropped as a quickstrike at skate shops and will hit Nike.com, October 6. When the shoe is worn/beat up the Swoosh and heel tab reveal a deep purple underneath.

You already know I have to grab a pair to rep the city. Heads up because this shoe probably won't get covered on other blogs.
