Nike pays homage to the 20th Anniversary of the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.

Everyone familiar with this blog knows that I’m from Atlanta and a huge fan of the Air Trainer SC High so this is really cool to see come to fruition.

As we all know, the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta is hands down the GOAT. It’s not even up for debate. Do your homework and you’ll see the light. That said, Nike created a special edition Air Trainer SC High to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the ’96 A-Town Olympics in all of its logo glory.

The shoe features a Georgia Peach on the left tongue, confetti inspired outsole, reflective leather & suede upper, and gold detailing… because the Olympics is all about the gold!

I’m not going to front, I’m childishly excited right now. Stay tuned because I’ll definitely be covering this shoe much more in detail. These will hit Nike.com on July 19 which is the exact date of the Atlanta ’96 Olympics Opening Ceremony. Ha!

TSG will indeed keep you posted with this Atlanta inspired Air Trainer SC High.

Sidenote: Photography by Decatur Dan. Man listen. Y’all have no idea how A-Town these are.
