Nike Turned Ken Griffey's Sneakers into Nurse Shoes
Every colorway is not meant for every sneaker. What made Ken Griffey's first Nike shoe special was how the Seattle colorway made the silhouette look better. If you strip the Griffey Max 1 of all its colors, you have a really fancy nurse shoe on deck. Salute to all my RN's though.
Today we have a prime example of when keeping it trendy goes wrong.
Although it's basic, Triple White is the new Red October in the sense that every sneaker is showing up in that colorway expecting the same results adidas had with the Ultra Boost, thanks again Kanye! Lets face it, the bulky 90s shoe era is gone. If it's not a Huarache in Triple White, Nike can just send it straight to the Outlets.
However, if you're interested in these plastic trash bins they cost $150 and should be arriving at your local Nike Sportswear retailers soon.
